Well, I don't hate America or even Americans.
But I'm not so fond of the American government.
Of course I'm not so fond of the Canadian government either.

I dunno. For a country that has a +$1Trillion GDP, the sponsership scandal just isn't that big, really. We could be doing a lot worse. We could have Steven Harper as PM.

Anyway I dont hate america of corse I am slightly partisan but does living there really make you partisan? But yeah the govt is slightly screwed on wrong but thats how the system works... If you get a few bad seeds in a senate seat or a presidential office in 4-8 years theyll be gone and hopefully you elect someone better, My main grudge against our govt is that it has left its capitalistic values behind. Not that I have anything against it but socialistic tendencies are creeping into our govt. I like capitalism much more than socialism but thats just my two cents.

Yes, your government does suck, but you still have a long way to go to catch up to our level. 
Capitalistic Values? So what is this perfect era you speak of? The 1980s when Reagan and lackeys were in office? 1930s-70s when our country was more socialistic? Or the time when there were no regulations?
I am talking about how our govt was founded on capitalism and democracy. It has turned into somewhat of a socialistic republic

What does it feel like to live under a socialist government? And pay a 50% income tax?
It feels freaking great! 'cause, you know, if I didn't, I'd probably be dead or dumb right now, due to a concussion in my youth and not having a rich family. Now since I live in socialism central, what did that cost me again? Oh, bam, that's right, nothing! Hell, I may need to pay a little more in the long run for it, but in the end, I think it's a good deal.
I said in the beginning I dont hate socialism its just if you found a country on capitalism then you should stay that way, even if a minority or two cry about it...

No country was givin the freedom to do whateva it wants, they must take it, even you euros have to admit that, bloodshed has gone on and will continue to go on whether you like it or not... Great Britan has killed for a variety of reasons and so has france and germany ( hmm...could mention canada but dont know much about the neighbor to the north)

Hell yeah the world revolves around oil...and me...but mostly oil. Americans use the excuse that we are takeing out terrorist, yeah that is a lie we are getting better oil prices so I dont have to pay that much at the pump... I am happy
