The Dink Network

My DMOD Project -

I am working on a DMOD of my own, it will be an epic, using every single screen available, even though some of them are hidden areas, that do have clues as where to find them.
You could spend a long time playing my DMOD if you choose to talk to everyone and the furniture and stuff, and go to the hidden areas, or you could ignore that and do it abit faster.
Dink starts off in his rather big house, as gains from his family etc and you choose a weapon and a spell for our hero...then you find a message telling him to go to the land of Kerth and save them from a mad villian.
Dink finds the way out of the village (after a nice little romp around if you so choose) and then to Kerth...the rest you will have to find out about.
Anyone interested in Beta Testing this DMOD? If so reply to me, it will be ready for beta testing in one weeks time.

This is your first DMOD, and from previous experience developing an epic DMOD as your debut is extremely challenging. There is nothing wrong with attempting an epic at first hand however I would recommend aiming slightly smaller.

However if you're confident that this will be finished then send me a mail when it's finished.

GlennGlenn doesn't want a custom title.
I`ll do it, but doesn`t it take time to create an epic?

Fair enough comments comrade....it will be hard, and that is why Ive set myself a period of roughly six months. Ive already overcome alot of the early struggles (yes, lots more to come, I know), but Im sure I can do it, especially since I have alot of time on my hands at the moment.
I was going to do a smaller one, but my ideas cannot be contained in something so small, neither do I want them to be.
Besides, I thrive on challenges...but thanks for your reasonable response, and general point taken.

Aye, it takes time, I dont expect to be done for roughly six months, or more yet, maybe less, I dont know. I am making rapid progress, having mapped out rough portions of a fair bit of the map already, albiet that I have a bugs on those screens to iron out and abit more detail to add in
before the Beta is released in a week or so.
The Beta will contain Dinks home village, the first village of the land of Kerth, and a mission attached to it, and the city of Verlaska, though the mission(s) for that area will be pretty simple for the Beta.
And of course, the surrounding areas will be in there, though due to the huge size of the map, not all areaa will yet be accesible, as its a fairly early Beta, almost an Alpha rarely.

Good luck. Epics are known for taking quite a while to create. I'd imagine that it's possible to create one in six months, but I personally couldn't do it.

On the other hand, the brilliant Tyrsis created an epic as her first dmod, so being new to Dink can't be too huge a problem...
