September 13, 2004 (Chicago) — A 19-year-old Chicago woman has been charged with murder for allegedly stabbing her cousin to death during a quarrel over a 99-cent box of French fries.
Police say Antoinette Jenkins and her cousin Antoine Jenkins, also 19, had visited a White Castle hamburger restaurant on the West side early yesterday morning and were on the street near their home when they began fighting over the box of fries. They say Antoinette took a knife and stabbed her cousin once in his heart.

She was arrested later in the day at a hotel, and police said they found bags from White Castle in her room.

Probably the best fries she ever had. And most likely coated in lovely "ketchup".

mcdonnalds fry slices of turd, and put food colouring in them. Thats what they call chips.

I cant believe they would make another ketchup brand cause Heinz is the name of a political candidate...must we hate each other so much?

Actually In and Out has the best french fries...made right on the spot just like their burgers...unfortunately you can only find them on the west coast.

We commies don't use ketchup. We just slit the throats of puppies and use that. Not just any puppies either, for they must be the the cutest of the cute.

I'm sorry, but In and Out french fries suck ass. Seriously. McDonald's fries are better.

If that is the case, those In and Out fries must be either made of grit, or something else disgusting. Maccy D's chips are pants.

No company makes the best fries. McDonalds are tasty, but I prefer the nuggets and chips at my local bar.

EDIT: And unless they do that, sending a PM is a good way to welcome new members. Hoggy's post would've been good for a PM.

If i Wonder if someone is New i`ll just check i the contributors page, to see what rank they have and so on!

Just because someone has a low rank doesn't mean they're new. Look at Seth for example.

You missed my point. Just because the rank says the person is a newbie doesn't mean they really are. Those ranks reflect post count.

But there's a better chance someone is new when he has a low post count than when he has a high one, right?

Also, most relative newbies on that list ARE persons that aren't here for long. If they are, they mostly joined, posted a few things and then left.

People with the "None" rank haven't posted anything, so won't be recognised even by the long-time members, so they may be called new when finally posting something.

Conclusion:

Most (not all, of course, but far more than 75%) of all relative newbies you see posting for the first time since you are here longer than a few weeks, ARE to be called new.

The person in question though (AS) has been around for a while.

Just to clear it up, I'm not new, I have been lurking at the DN board since the past 2 yrs or so. But I prefer lurking to posting... I'm basically a quite person by nature.
