The nomination phase of the Download of the Year Awards 2003 has ended, and now the real voting ensues! (Well, really, it starts about two hours after I post this news..) You are given six* files to choose from in each category, and you may only choose one file per category, so vote wisely. You may place your votes at the following locations: D-Mod Finals, Development Finals, and Miscellaneous Finals.

What happened to the none option?

hrrrffuup... I didn't get a *Thank You, Your Vote has been Added* after I voted.

I didn't get that either. Instead I got some code to show up. I tried twice (so I double voted) because I wasn't sure if it got registered, but I got the same message the second time as well. Was my vote registered or not?

Some jackass doesn't know how to code.

I alos can't believe Dry doesn't get nominated.

Dry?? That d-mod didn't do anything for me. It was a nice idea but... the cut scenes just bored me to tears.

I just can't believe A Knights Tale 2 got 7 votes! And I didn't even vote for it myself!

And don't even get me started on the Meridian Silver Design Document, the worst file this Network has ever seen, coming 2nd in the Misc. category...

Hence the need for a "none" category

Or maybe you just shouldn't vote. It's bad enough to see None "earn" the DOTM award; granting it a DOTY would be downright lame IMO.

But... if the rest of the files are lame...

yes, preciously - although I only think it affects the misc section...

That is a very unique choice of words...SimonK is special though like all of us...either that he made that post under the influence.

yeah... Dukie has seen through my spoonerism - Not voting does not actually reflect my choice that none of the misc section files was worthy of an award - having the option of selecting "none" does this.
