I was supposed to see my female today. I spent four hours beautimifying myself in anticipation of her arrival.

Then she totaled her car.

Fortunately, she is ok, from what I gathered from her mother.

Yes, a good thing that she is ok. But what you've learnt from all this: NO driving under you're 18 years old. That's how it is in Finland, and propably in the rest of europe too.

And really, you have to learn to beautify yourself faster/beautify yourself less... Four hours just isn't healthy anymore!

Europe is the opposite of America when it comes to drinking and driving (separated). You can't drink until you're 21 (or 18 in some states, though it still happens frequently anyway) and you can get a driver's license when you're 14 here.

Uh, right. I don't think a very specific age makes any difference. I'd say anyone in their late teens can drive, given they have a grasp on how to operate the vehicle well. If I've "learnt" anything, it's that bad things happen, and I've known that for longer than I can remember.

I probably could have done that in less than four hours (shower, trim/shave various things, etc.), but bah. I had time to kill (especially since she didn't even show up ). Why isn't it healthy, especially.. anymore?

You can't have one in TN until you're 16, unless you suffer certain hardships.

It isn't healthy if you do it too much. I mean, if you met your girlfriend 5 times a week and everyday you spent 4 hours preparing yourself for her, you'd spend 20 hours a week just for shaving your private parts, shamponizing them and whatever else I can imagine you doing in four hours.

Definitely not healthy that would be.

But what's not healthy about it, dude? The only real problem I see is it being a waste of time.

And if I saw her five times a week, I definitely wouldn't be spending four hours a day preparing for her arrival.. I spent four hours today because I usually only make myself look snazzy when she's coming around, which only happens every two or three weeks. (And of course, because I lose track of what I'm doing quite often, too..) I look scraggly any other time.

scratchers boy friend doesn't care what he looks or smells like. He loves him reguardless.

Why even care about shaving? I have a thick almost-beard.

To be honest scratcher... it was pretty funny.

In England you can drive when you are 17, but I think they are increasing it to 18. Which is silly.
17 makes more sense, because (in theory, if not in practice) you get a year to practice driving before you try when you are drunk.

Sabre doesn't drive though. Hell no. Sabre walks everywhere. The rambling fish, they call me. Though that could refer to another kind of rambling... ho hum.

Whoa Tal that sucks! Not only did you lose out on all that time, but now your girlfriend is gonna have one serious bill! Im glad she's ok though and so are you.
