er.... I mean like the main game where dink has to beat up Seth. Can I play mysteryisland using a dink saved in the main game? I wish I had that dink's stats for mystery island T_T

There is only one D-Mod that supports transferring your stats/weapons/etc from the original to the D-Mod, and that is The Catacombs.

Or maybe Qesse needs to know the truth. For the most part you start over with stats each time you play a new DMOD, depending on what each programer gives you, and the question should be "How do I play new games".

It's too bad no one else picked up on my d-mod transfer idea. It does make it hard to know how chalenging to make your d-mod when the player could start at eny level though.

Not so hard if taking into account only stats, but it can be not very good for the story and gameplay. What if Dink is not supposed to have items, magic etc. which he gets with a "foreign" saver?

True, except it only works with the main game, so there really aren't that many items or spells to worry about. Of course the idea could be taken farther, but that would be even more work.
