Oh really? Glenn's post was perfect, but yours not only neglects the use of a conjunction, you spelt 'you' wrong, and you used parallel structuring, a no-no in such a short post. Also you forgot to capitalize English.

When referring to it as a proper noun, yes. English is a confusing and misleading language, which is why I take grammar nazis with a grain of pepper. If I can understand someone without too much decifering, I don't care if your grammar or spelling is less than is perfect.

Anyway, Banana and Tal jokes are a staple of The Dink Network Community. Without them we would surely die a death of one thousand suns upon the dawn of the new world of darkness.

dude, that comma is in no way a mistake and you know it.

Actually my English professor spoke on the use of comma's. He said way to often people use comma's in places where they sound appropriate, but are unnecessary. There is no real mistake in choosing to use one though.

Actually, that comma IS a mistake. It is unnecessary and puts an unexpected pause in the sentence. That comma would be appropriate, however, if what came after it was surrounded by quotes (which would be weird for a post). The comma could also be replaced with a colon, but the best method would still be to not include any punctuation at all.
