How do you extract graphics from games like Redink1 and other people have done like Warcraft2?
if they are FF created then you cant extract them since they has done it becuse peoples like you should steel the graphics that he has made, but somethimes they lay out a graphics pack like SimonK has done so you cant extract them from their FF position!
Uh, I think he meant how to rip graphics from other <u>games</u>, not D-Mods.
In some games that is done easily, for example if you want to rip a graphic from Doom, download XWE or similar WAD editor, open the WAD and save the bitmaps on your hard drive from there.

There are a couple tools available to extract BMPs from WarCraft and StarCraft games. The one that I used extracted every character into one really, really tall bitmap, with the frames evenly spaced out. I went through it manually, highlighting and copying every frame to a new file. Sometimes I would accidently get off by a pixel or two, and would have to start over.
Yes, that took an absolutely mind-boggling amount of time, and I don't think I would ever do something like that again. Now I'd just create a program to extract them myself.

Well maybe Fellowship of the ring or Escape from Monkey Island. I dont know if it's possible though.

That's BS. I can extract files from FF files all fine. Trust me, it's no sweat.
You can't extract bmps from full 3D games. They are 3D models, not 2D bitmaps. Escape from Monkey Island does use bitmaps, but I don't think you can simply extract them.

Diablo, yes. I think I've seen utilities floar around that do just that, but I have no idea where to get them. Search around and you'll find them eventually.
