I need a betatester

Read the subject. But! There are restrictions:

- You have to speak English, perfectly. To find all typos, even the tiniest grammar errors.

- Patience. Hit and talk to every tree, rock, bush, etc. to find anything that shouldn't be there. For example, no bush of grass should have nohit 0.

I need only one betatester, so first to answer gets the job. You might have to wait for a while though until I get a beta ready.

Go ahead. Call me a freaking perfectionist. (I'd love that! )

You want your dmod to be completely bugless and then ask for only one beta tester? beh man, you make no sense.

He's got a point. But eh, I'll volunteer.

I would be willing, though it appears as though I may have been beaten to the punch by Merlin.

I suggest you get at least 3 beta-testers to get your d-mod as bugfree as humanly possible. To expect a betatester to find every grammar bug is a bit much to ask I think. You'd have to find someone who actually pays attention to every single word in a dialog which is fatigueing and a real hell to write down as a bug because you'll have to pinpoint the exact phrase again before reporting.

Kyle is correct. Having at least 3 Beta-testers is a very, very, very good idea.

You can never rely on one Beta-tester to pick everything up, and the more you have, the more likely you are to get a comprehensive buglist back.

And don't worry Tal, you'll have a whole loada testing to do come tomorrow.

Hmm, what was that program some one made that takes all the dialog from a .c file and ouputs it to a text file? Some one could use that, and correct every thing that way very easily.

It would be extrememly easy to do that, but putting it back in wouldn't.

Yes, there is such a program in the database and it's VERY handy. It puts everything back as well.

Well, alright, maybe I could use two testers. So Merlin and Tal, you're in if you are willing to do it.

You might have to hold on for a while though, but I'll work as fast as I can.

Thanks Kyle, you just gave me an example!

Work as thouroughly as you can!

Even typos as small as this are counted And, although this is my first D-Mod, it's definitely not a n00b one, and I've put quite an effort in decorating the map and everything.

Could you point out to me where the typo is? I'm not a native English speaker so I'm just wondering

Good luck with your project!

LOL t-h-r-o-u-g-h is the correct spelling, at least that's how I've been taught.

Christiaan: Dunno, shouldn't take to long though. Look out for a midipack, also! I have got 6 midis ready now.

I'm 95% sure that wasn't a serious comment. But being a gullible sort, I feel compelled to remind everyone that "thorough" and "through" mean different things.

Yeah, who cares if someone says "thorough" instead of "through". Not a deadly flaw

Lol, you're all so funny. Thorough was correct, not through. And the British spelling of Thorough is Thourogh, so Kyle was right in the first place.

Yay, more nitpicking!

I think Merlin meant the British spelling of "thorough" is "thourough"..
