Re: Dink vs The Bathroom
Why is there no Bathroom in any of the Dink games?? Dink should be washing up, after killing slimers and pillbugs..(messy work). And except for SOB (where he goes outside) he never goes anywhere else. No house has ever had a bathroom in it, not even an outside one, NOT even a sign.
Someone should make a DMOD on this topic. They could call it: Dink Goes Looking for a Bathroom!

Dink is a Fantasy/Medieval game. Hence, bathrooms have no place.
While I won't go into the rather... odd details why there are no toilets, I have an answer for why there are no showers or bathtubs.
People just didn't take a shower or a bath often, until rather recently in human history. For example, Queen Elizabeth II took a bath like once in 6 months, and thought that anyone who took one more often than that was insane.
And this was the queen; the common people probably took baths much less often. And this was also like in the 1400's/1500's (or somewhere around there), and if you could compare Dink's time to our time, it would probably be equivalent to 300 A.D. - 1200 A.D. or so. Or perhaps even earlier.
So that is why

Or in france during Ludvig 14. I think.. (I suck at history) they "let off" in the streets, or if you were the king, or his staff, in a corner in one of the rooms in the castle. Nice eh?
