Robj live streams info
Hi, for those backwards folk that aren't connected to the Dink discord.
I will be (hopefully) comitting to streaming quite regularly soon. I'm running a few test streams over the next couple days to make sure my setup is working properly, and then I'll make some tweaks based on that.
Then I'll be starting with Dink Smallwood Achievement Unlocked edition.
I will not post on the DN when I go live because it'll basically be spamming everyday day or so.
So PLEASE if you want updates the best place to see anything to do with my streams, my setup, my future stream schedule calender, join the discord I made to keep everything in one place:

i still say redink1 put a dspt live tracker on the sidebar
If Redink did wanna implement something like that, it'd be better as a manual thing, where I can click a button and toggle the status to live, because I will be streaming Dink stuff off my main channel, but will also stream other stuff too.
That way I could just set it to "now live" whenever im streaming Dink related stuff.
I chose to do this cause if I build a viewers base for other games, they are most likely to watch the dink ones too. Pulls more viewers over to Dink.
When I upload/archive each stream to youtube, I will upload the Dink related videos to DSPT youtube channel tho.

I've seen other sites have the top twitch streams of their game played show on their front page automatically. I wonder if something like that could be implemented to the sidebar here as a nameplate or thumbnail?

not that anyone gives the slightest duck, but robj did go ahead and get wimpy winner.
took a bunch of version swapping as the hardness error in the derelict mine doesn't work in freedink (though, you can sink into the left during the screenlock and then rubberband back up...forgot where i saw that before but i probably put a quick video of it in the dink discord). it worked in hd, though. BUT...IN HD, there is a specific screen under koka island that freezes once you hit the map boundary. more freakish dink mysteries. he finished at level 3, skipping everything once reaching terris.
while he was doing this, however, i decided to give it a go as well, but i tried a different strategy. i found that you don't need to skip anything until much later. i did what robj did, avoiding every possible source of exp i could, got enemies to kill eachother and whatnot, and even killed bishop nelson opening the way to kernsin. from there i did all the usual stuff, still avoiding whatever i could.
i was level 3 by the time i got to koka island, grabbed all the bonuses there, and then just save scummed the duck fight minigame until i had 5000 gold for a lightsword and elixir. i forgot to buy elixirs when going to the edge of the world...so that's pretty much the end of that. i took the bridge that has shitty hardness and then took the river there to the north. got on top of the trees next to the teleporter, used the teleporter, went back and got a lightsword. still level 3.
there are a couple screenlocks in the darklands on the way to seth. if you stay at the very bottom of the map and just keep hugging that wall, you'll have to face a slayer and some dragons, then 4 slayers. dragons don't have anything to do with screenlocks, so it's not really an issue. also, i only put points into magic, and got every potion there is outside the darklands so i had 12 magic. should help in deflecting their harm spells.
all in latest freedink. so, definitely doable at level 3. hell, if you get to 4, there's 1600 more exp to go. so, it's pretty ducking lenient.
so as for screenlocks. in murkwood, take the right path. less enemies. for darklands, looks like there should be a way to get to seth without any screenlocks, but its a longer path. so if you wanna try all this shit in a speedrun, bottom path is probably best.
