well i dont hate them but *cry* lol
my comp started turning off alot on its own and 1 time it just didnt turn back on
now im using my old comp
but ive lost 1 of my biggest dmod ive made so far

I've lost d-mods to computers going all weird on me quite a few times. But in the long run, you just make them better the next time. Or at least, that's what I keep telling myself.

Is it possible you contracted that "lovesan" or whatever worm somehow? I hear that one of the main things it does is constantly shut down your computer.

W32.Blaster.Worm. A fix for it can be downloaded here. I recommend you run it in safe-mode.

well i did have it but got the patch
and the virus wont make it so ur comp dosent come on anymore lol

ya my computer wasnt able to turn on sometimes, maybe your video card is all messed up, i have to turn my monitor off to turn on the computer lol

And what's wrong with using an *old computer*??
Mine is probably the oldest on the board and still runs well (usually).

If the fan in your computer has broken, it may be the cause. The computer will refuse to keep running then. But I don't know. I don't know sweet FA about computers.

Turn on your pc (and if you are lucky, it wont shutdown), press the key to enter the bios - you will see which key you need to press.

Search for "Pc Health Status" or "Pc Health" or whatever

and see if "Automaticly shutdown at: **C / F" isnt turned on, if it is then look at the CPU temp, if its near the shutdown temp then raise it or turn it off (the A Shutdown at feature)

See if it still reboots/shutdown...

Or just give it a really hard kick.
