MUSIC
Let's talk about music! A certain type of music. It can be a single song, it can be the soundtrack of a game/movie/book/whatever it can be your own creation, WHATEVER.
Let's say you wanna work out, train, parkour, run, but whatever it is, something needs to get you going. So please, tell me about what songs or soundtracks you like that make you energetic and angry and READY TO DO STUFF.
For example, I like the combat soundtrack from HOMM 3. Now THAT'S some intense stuff right there.

I listen to all sort of music (metal, rap, classic- you name it).
I've recently listened a LOT on deadmau5 mixes while i work (3,5 hour mixes with bose quiet comfort while working is the shiz).
I like harder/faster music when I work out tho (and sometimes really grim songs by Watain)...

i want to know what that orb does.
That game seems to have had a big impact on this community (Did I say it right?)
yes. i wouldn't mind another game in the same universe too and toby has said there would be i think. just not direct sequels or whatever.
and really, that game doesn't need a sequel. a prequel would be cool though maybe.

I listen to way too much music to start listing even a tiny bit of it off. I don't really listen to anything when I'm doing other things, though. I usually just prefer to sit around and give the music my full attention. Blind Guardian is my favourite band, and their first albums are more thrashy, so I guess they could get you pumped up if that's what you're looking for. I think their later albums, such as "A Night at the Opera" could get you pumped up too, but it's more likely they'll just fry your brain with all the musical information they contain. I guess their latest song to put me in a bit of a kickass mood would be this one.
But yeah, I listen to all sorta music from different bands, artists. Songs and background music from animated shows. Literally almost anything. I feel like everything has their share of great and awful. But I don't really listen to anything for the sole purpose of getting pumped, angry or motivated, so don't know about that.

how dare you make me listen to that. With my own ears.
i guess it should be expected. you have to have certain...refined taste. you low-class peasants couldn't ever hope to understand true music.
Huh, that was interesting. This is more my sort atonal electronic jam.
Ah shit sorry I didn't reply at all I was visiting a town for a few days.
Maybe this'll qualify as energetic?
I REALLY like both of 'em. But because the first one is free, I like that one more

Some of this Crystal Castles stuff is actually pretty dope. Nice one Striker.
Thanks. I like their stuff a lot.
One of my favorite musicians is Foxamoore. I can't pick any one song as my absolute favorite, and though he has a youtube, it only has twelve of one hundred seventy five songs, not counting songs he's done before that you won't find anywhere except dusty corners of the internet or on his released CDs.
The pages I link to are to the downloads of his songs, as I'm sure you'd rather not be graced with his furaffinity, which is the only place to find some of the song I'm linking to.
If you're narrowminded enough to hate him based on that alone, and not listen to his music, then that's your perogative. You'd just be missing out on some great music.
Gone, a song I like to listen to while in melancholy moods.
Stone Throne, a recently released song that I've literally listened to for hours on end.
Rise, A more fast-paced song.
Yria's Lament, This song was actually a commission done for someone making a graphic novel called Myre. Kinda reminds me of a world map theme, to be honest.
The Forest, The very first song I'd ever heard from him. Every time I listen to it, it reminds me of the concept of what home is for me, rather than where I was born or currently live.
Encroaching Thunder, Using actual sounds of thunder and rain in it, this song is one of my most loved favorites. I love the sound of rain and thunder, and this reminds me of the thunderstorms that shook my house when I lived in Iowa.
Never Far Away, I typically don't listen to music with lyrics. This song, I'll find myself singing along with it. Note, the person singing is a musician collaborating with Foxamoore.
Tears of the Forgotten, Similar with Yria's Lament, a commission for that aforementioned graphic novel. This one I like because it's creepy and beautiful at the same time.
And lastly, Hold Me Tight, Every time I hear this song, I get goosebumps.
Funny thing is, every time I tell people about this guy, they either think it's a guilty pleasure of mine, (because furries,) or think I'm a furry for listening to him. (Again, furries.)
I simply like good music.

they all link to a 403, forbidden page.
edit: they don't work even when logged in to furaffinity.
what is the secret knock?

You can listen to some of fox amoors tracks on soundcloud. I've been following him for a while. He's definitely talented.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot: Here's more weird fun.
For all the prog rock fans, here's a pretty good concept album based on the Moomin books.
