Hold on, guys. For once, Punisher has presented us with an actual profound question.

My initial answer simply is genetics. From birth, we are genetically predisposed to liking the other gender, this is through physical attraction, hormones within and produced by our bodies that mature our bodies and give is the means for procreation.
It also has to do with how we were brought up as well, and what we eat, as as you grow up, the foods that you eat literally become part of you. (Via absorption of nutrition)
However, in spite of this, most people do not know what causes people to feel attraction for those of the same sex (Homosexual/Lesbian), both sexes (Bisexuality), Practically anyone and everyone (Pansexuality), or nobody (Asexuality).

I've spent some time among non-hetero people, and find them to be both fascinating and friendly people. My cousin, for example, is a transgendered male. (I believe I'm using the term right. Born female, but feels male.) A friend on facebook is a lesbian, though I often talk with LGBT individuals on various fora where my research leads me. (Research into different types of magic practiced to zoology to video games, I'm actually surprised to not see any outwardly non-hetero person on this forum. But I digress.)

The answer, when many things are taken into perspective, isn't that simple, and even I with my frequent moments to do research do not know everything, or can know everything because I am straight, and thus do not have any experience with attraction to more than just the opposite sex.

I was answering not only the physical aspect, but the emotional aspect, ergo, taking his question literally, because I'm often a literal-minded guy.
Besides, he often reacts violently to the simple answer.

I never implied you were transgendered, Punisher. I merely answered your question by giving observation as my basis.

However, a woman's capacity to nurture stems from procreation and the need to raise one's young. Apocryphally, pre-humanoid males would spend their times hunting for food, whilst the females would care for and nurture their young. Again, genetics.

I think you'd fit at Tumblr actually among others who, for whatever reason, have to speak in such a pretentious way.

And you believe that you have some otherkin connection to wolves and dragons, the latter of which do not exist.

Once again you start it all by speaking in a provocative manner to piss off people (trolling). I can't imagine how many times you've broken the first guideline of the DN.

short answer for punisher to you women seem more attractive because you are a straight male.

also imo unless people disrespect others and/or my orientation i couldn't care less whom they are attracted to. sure if guy/guy girl/girl i need to think extra about it but that is thanks to stereotyping(I.E. out of the norm)

transgenders if they are happier is cool if they regret it all i can think of why go on?

there are also masculine females(if not too much btw i like 'm a lot but(only tomboy levels not more))
and feminine males(dunno what could but told could be metroman(or metrosexual but dunno))

sorry if too off-topic but wanted to add my 2 cents

I think I may be the right "man" for you, Pred. I can also shape shift if you want. I can be any gender, any race, any kind of bread you want. But if you want me to be bread, I must advise against eating me. If you want me to be a girl, I advise you to eat me.

Demisexual means that you are not attracted to a person sexually until you spend time with them and grow attached to them. Often, demisexuals will state they are demi-heterosexual, or demi-homosexual to note what they have found themselves to be attracted to.

I know what it supposedly means.

I'm not denying that some people are like that, I'm just rejecting the silly word. Hell, I wouldn't want to have sex with somebody I haven't spent time with and grown attached to. But this is an issue of personal taste and not sexual orientation.
September 1st 2014, 02:10 AM
wizardg.gif
Are you rejecting the word because it's basically saying, half-sexual or partially-sexual? I think it's an acceptable word if sexual orientation is determined not only by what someone is attracted to, but the degree attracted to as well. I don't really think sexual orientation should include how much someone is attracted to something though. That should have it's own new category. Call it the sexual volume or something.

People can be pint-sexual, liter-sexual, gallon-sexual, etc.

This seems to be a matter of definition. Sexual orientation is an overlying layer of what you're attracted to. If you're only attracted sexually to someone after knowing them for a while and the gender of that someone doesn't matter then you're bisexual. You might also be friendsexual though, it's not your sexual orientation but rather your sexual preference.

Just because it's not a sexual orientation doesn't mean it's not a thing.

EDIT: I do agree though that demisexual is a dumb term, and it suggests something totally different than it's what it is supposed to mean.

You feed the madness, and it feeds on you.
Women are pretty awesome.. although they can be ungrateful at times, you cook them a beautiful surprise breakfast in bed and wake them with a gentle kiss on the forehead and you don't even get a thank you.. they just freak out and scream: "Who the hell are you? Get out of my house I'm calling the police!".

I mean seriously.

Just heard the term for the first time. Definitely not going to start using that one... Other than being poorly named, it's also that I see no need to have a specific term for something like that. There's a word for every inane little thing these days.

...Speaking of which, I'm firmtitsexual myself. It's not the size, it's how well they keep their shape!
