So now you would kill the organisms in your mouth that aid you in tasting the food you eat, or that which digests said food and allows you to gain energy and nourishment? The critters that keep your nasal cavity clear by pushing all the dirt you breathe into the snot you sneeze? Sorry pal, but you're suggesting you kill yourself without everyone else here telling you to for such nonsensical statements.

Go learn some science before you make yourself look worse, which is already hard to do.

Antibiotics kill bacteria. While many bacteria are harmful, there are those which are helpful, too! The famous Yoghurt Brothers ABC are best known: Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus casei.

These helpful biota stamp out the living spaces of more harmful bacteria in the human GI tract, such as Helicobacter Pylori and even reduce the colonizing abilities of the much-maligned Staphylococcus group.

So we see that balance in all things is good practise - death and birth must each negate the other.

'Probiotics are live bacteria that may confer a health benefit on the host.[1] In the past, there were other definitions of probiotics. The first use of the word “Probiotic” as microorganisms that have effects on other microorganism was accredited to Lilly and Stilwell (1965),[2] expressed as follows: Substances secreted by one microorganism that stimulate another microorganism. Again, the term was used in 1971 by Sperti [3] to describe tissue extracts which stimulated microbial growth. The word was later described by Parker in 1974 [4] who advanced the meaning of the term by adding the word organisms to the definition, thereby describing probiotics as “Organisms and substances that have a beneficial effect on the host animal by contributing to its intestinal microbial balance”. Later, the definition was greatly improved by Fuller in 1989,[5] whose explanation was very close to the definition used today. Fuller in 1989 described probiotics as "live microbial feed supplement which beneficially affects the host animal by improving its intestinal microbial balance". He stressed two important facts of probiotics: the viable nature of probiotics and the capacity to help with intestinal balance. Alternative expert review indicates there is insufficient scientific evidence for supplemental probiotics having a benefit.[6] Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) and bifidobacteria are the most common types of microbes used as probiotics, but certain yeasts and bacilli may also be used. Probiotics are commonly consumed as part of fermented foods with specially added active live cultures, such as in yogurt, soy yogurt, or as dietary supplements. Probiotics are also delivered in fecal transplants, in which stool from a healthy donor is delivered like a suppository to an infected patient.[7]'

Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Probiotic

In other words, probiotic bacteria are bacteria that are symbiotic organisms that assist you in your daily life by helping to digest certain things that you normally could not digest alone. They are found in foods such as cheeses and yogurts, as well as various other kinds of foods. Without probiotics and other beneficial bacteria (Such as certain strains of E. Coli), we as humans would fail to survive.

I'd also like to note, as an interesting fact, that the mitochondria in our cells, the organelles that create energy for cellular use, used to be separate creatures before symbiotically fusing with the DNA and becoming an essential part of our cellular structure.

Dude, Escherichia coli are beneficial bacteria that exist in the intestines of all animal life (Humans are animals, mind you, so you're not exempt). Escherichia coli is required for our bodies to develop correctly and to remain healthy. Granted, there are a few strains of Escherichia coli that are toxic, but the bacteria is extremely beneficial.

What you SHOULD hate are viruses and parasites, as they are nothing but trouble. (Don't mistake viruses with bacteria. Bacteria are killed by antibiotics, while viruses are immune to them.)

Intelligence is the ability to use your senses (what you see etc) to make decisions which help you achieve your goals.

A person with beliefs that are so firm that they don't change even in the face of hard facts, is by that definition very unintelligent. Arguably so much, that he can rightfully be called an idiot.

I can even prove the problems that bacteria has casued me and other people
Tooth Decay-(just look at this)
Food that has been ruined way too early(Hence the reasons we in modern society put preservatives in food)
-Salamana posining(Chicken)
-Mucas and sneesing
-They ruined my treats such as yoghurt(I like yoghurt but the thought of those little parasites swimming around in it turns me off)
-Infections when you get a cut(I like to thank those Red Blood sells for fixing thing like up)
-Gingavitis

One thing Shevek use a different portrait its way too similar to DD portrait.

Tooth decay can come from other factors. The fact that most sodas contain high fructose corn syrup is one of those huge factors.

Salmonella can easily be dealt with as long as you do not cross contaminate.
Without mucous (Or more commonly spelled, mucus) our noses would become extremely dry and bleed all of the time, as well as our throats would be dry and unable to move food. Not to mention that mucous is created by the body and is needed to trap DIRT and many other particulates. Sneeing occurs as an auto-immune function of the respiratory system to deal with allergenic particulates such as pollen and dust mites, which are microscopic bugs that eat dead skin cells.

Probiotic bacteria in yogurts are necessary for the body to function. Also, bacteria are not parasites, as parasites feed on the flesh, blood and food of the host without benefiting the host in some way. (Bacteria, in this case, digest certain compounds in the body, allowing us to absorb it into our bodies.)

Infections can be easily dealt with by washing wounded areas with clean water and sterilizing the wound and bandaging it with clean cotton bandages.

Gingivitis is caused by not brushing your teeth. Brush your teeth, Pred, it's good for you. And make sure you use unfluoridated toothpaste, as fluoride will duck your body up more than anything else. Ever seen a calcified thyroid gland?

Also: This is the difference between bacteria and viruses. Note how Viruses are MUCH, MUCH WORSE.

Humans are not smooth and well formed as they appear. In fact, all living animals are swarming colonies rife with microbes and cohabitational cells. A delicate ecosystem is maintained - it's really marvellous, and actually bacteria play an important role in it.
Indeed, we know that an imbalanced bacterial colony frequently results in the proliferation of other pathogens such as Candidiasis aka thrush.

Fungi are very interesting organisms too. And while antibiotics are readily available antimycotics are much harder to develop.

Also: bacteria (and archae bacteria) are the only organisms capable of producing vitamin B12 which is an essential vitamin in every cell of your body...

About the sun going out the biggest disadvantage would be that would always need lights to see properly(Moon light no exist by the way because that comes from the reflection of the sun) hence a slighty more inconience and greater power usage.

It would be pretty good no more 50 plus degree weather no more sun burns no more rashes and skin cancer and I can wear comfortable jumpers and pants all year without collapsing due the the extreme heat.

No sun means the temperature of the Earth will hover a little bit above absolute zero, probably between -200 to -250 degrees Celsius. Nothing would be able to survive and the Earth would just be a giant ball of rock and ice. I don't think it would be possible to create artificial sources of heat and light in a high enough amount to keep any sizable amount of people alive for long enough for the species to continue to exist. The end of Sol (our sun) means the end of all known life forms. (Because we are yet to discover life somewhere besides our planet.)

Astrophysics <3

Edit: However, it would be possible to collect energy from the Earth's core to produce heat in a small area. In that small area it would probably be possible to sustain a very small population of people. The name of the exact thing I'm trying to describe escapes me at the moment

I wouldn't call him unintelligent either. He actually puts a lot of thought behind his ideas. But he's so naive that he sometimes doesn't fully understand the things he's talking about. For example, he didn't understand that there can be good bacteria, so he said we should get rid of them all. And I would agree with the point he meant: Yes, I think we should learn a way to kill all the non-good bacteria which cause nothing but harm. Whether he wants to accept he lacks knowledge about the subject or not, that's where the naivety steps in.

I actually think he knows when he's wrong, but his naivety makes him think losing an argument means that you're weak.

Also, Punisher's been in many situations where other people have faced him with "hard facts", but I've still actually agreed with him, because the other people's firm beliefs were no more facts than his. So sometimes it's good to keep stubborn, but this is not one of those times.

By the the way I dont hate yoghurt I actually like it....

Yogurt often has live active bacteria cultures. But, these bacteria help break down food in your gut helping with many digestive problems such as constipation. This bacteria does not have any reaction with your teeth, it's actually the sugar in yogurt that would be bad for your teeth.

If I'm not mistaken, it's only one specific kind of bacteria that really causes tooth decay, but that bacteria is attracted to carbohydrates (especially sugar). Be sure to drink water with your bread to keep it from sticking to your teeth as much and keep some saliva on your teeth to protect them. And if you ever drink anything sugary, use a straw and don't let it touch your teeth.
