Uhm, I liked age of mythology more than age of empires. Especially the titans expansion pack.
Age of Mythology, Warcraft 2 & 3 and Starcraft 1 & 2 (long time since I played any, but I really liked these).
I've also played a tiny bit of C&C Tiberium Wars... It was really fun! Me and my friend got completely ownd by Scrin on the "brutal" setting, haha.

I just love to play the Traveler-59 side of Scrin in Kane's Wrath. They're so my type. Mind control and speed. MWHAHAHHOHOHO!

All C&C made by Westwood (EA's ones are crap), AoE 1-2, Empire Earth 1, Warcraft and Starcraft series.

Probably Dawn of War. That was an extremely addictive game.
Civilization 3 is an amazing game... I've played it again and again and again... I always enjoy it!

Quite, Real-Time referring to active combat rather than turn-based movement and/or battle sequences. Its still a strategy game overall however.
All-time best rated rts that I've played and enjoyed the most would have to be Dink Smallwoo- oh wait.

EA's ones are crap
The more recent ones from EA are crap Red alert 3 and C&C4
But EA did a pretty good job with Generals and C&C3.

All three AoEs both the AoMs,Rome Total,War World of Warcraft RoC and TFT,are worth a shot
Stronghold Crusader. I just love it!
Knights and Merchants was great. 
I can also remember really enjoying the campaign from Empire Earth, and recently I've really enjoyed Medieval Total war 2. Though that is more of a turn-based/real-time mix than a true RTS.
Also not a classic RTS but my all time favorite strategy game anyway: Europa Universalis

Starcraft 2.
The Total War series will always captivate me, especially Rome Total War. If you have any interest history and/or alternative history, you can't get much better.
Stronghold 2 is most definitely an awesome game. It felt so small-budget, yet so interactive and complex.|

I havent play heart of the swarm atleast yet due Blizzard paranoid DRM Anti-piracy bullcrap so im not going watch the video.
Stronghold series.
Recently just found the AOE2 AOK disc in a draw under dozzens of normal music CDs
I installed it and im playing it I had alot of trouble with the Compadability the game look wrong so went to the notepad and copyed a patch from the internet then put in the file directry then made a shortcut for the file.
Its OK now.
Also i had the confique the graphics card to high performace GPU to power saving GPU becasue the whole game was just black and white lines and there was nothing on the screen.

Another good RTS game was Warcraft 3 i enjoyed the Herores and RPG system Espcially the inventory system.

Yeah Age of Mythology was pretty good escially Fall of the Trident campaign The Titan campaign was a bit short but i did like having the aleanteans.

DRM aside, SC2 is a very well done game. Not as good as SC, though they have yet to release all of the expansions.

A compliment is something you say as a nice gesture towards people you like, not a mean of blackmail, which you threaten to pull away immediately when the person disagrees with you. That's just low.
