Story Folder goes trololol
-Issue Resolved, cheers-
So I opened my D-mod folder today to start working on more scripting (been doing mapping mostly since I got back to it) And for some strange reason, I have a ton of random scripts in the folder that don't belong there. When I checked them out, they appeared to be scripts from other Dmods.
Is there any particular reason that they could've gotten mixed into there? I did copy the Dmods folder to my best computer recently, but I don't think that did it, unless when I installed DFArc on here it made a folder with the same name (FoD) before I added the Dmods.
Very strange situation none the less.
Example: troll.c o_O
Now I have NO idea wtf that is for. I did however find a script that mentioned in the dialogue some warhammer of stonebridge, and an item script for some dust of levitation.
Now what the DUCK are those?

I would say you've been trolled by a computer. Remember: the only winning move is not to trolol.

dang, that explains a lot. Checked my .dmod install files folder (kept em all to save re-downloading everything I play) and it was in there.
Guess I'll be renaming the Dmod folder then... Cleaning up the mess is gonna be troublesome.

Who is this mysterious Random person that just swooped in and saved the day!!??
Could be faster to restore a recent backup and plop back in the updated scripts/graphics etc than reading thru them to see whats yours.
WHAT?? No backup... aw man... I could say backups are mandatory - or I told ya so - or something to that effect - but I wouldn't be so cruel... so I will just say 'THAT BITES' instead and do "the look" that your mother gives you when she thinks you should have known better heh heh.

Whaddaya mean, "no backup"? I have 3 computers and its on all three of em.
Only this one ended up with the problem, I only have to copy the map files over and the few scripts I've changed since the copy and I'm sorted to restore a backup story folder. And tiles and graphics. And sound.

FUS DO RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
FUSS is a well known power word, primarily used by babies. DORAH is ANIM's daughter, also missing. She was only 14 months old when they were last seen, although she would be nearly 7 today.
hmm dinkyone - a little clarification on the other bit that Paul missed...
The MD Exd refers to is MEeeee!! as in MsDink = MD = Emdee
Exd had always called me that and we all love zed

Should probably mention that I tested the forest o' doom being overwritten again, seems to be the case.
Dmod install files DO NOT check to see if a folder bearing the same Dmod directory, for a different mod, exists. Maybe something that needs to be repaired, so it asks for a new directory folder or adds a (1) (2) etc. Or at least something to prevent this.
Imagine someone playing Cloud Castle, pauses mid-story to download Count Chocula, and both folders are named CC; Choc replaces Castle's map and ini file, adds its own stuff, and all of a sudden CC's gone. Unsure how the save files would affect the mod though. Also, there is no Count Chocula mod XD yet...
Also, managed to get FoD back into proper shape. Back to work for me!
And Dorah's not missing.
