Saddest moments in gaming?
What are your saddest moments in gaming?
Finishing a good one and starting a horrible one.
One sad moment is when Arthas dies in the Wrath of the Lich King ending cinematic. The music that plays when he talks to Terenas is amazing.
When I tried to kill Athena in AoM but then realized she can't die.
Watching Emil sacrifice himself to save Nier and Kaine when Popola goes bat-shoot crazy over the death of her twin sister.
Either that or when the Shade Wolf dies after playing the second playthrough of Nier.

Sorry, Kyle.
Lol, why was my post deleted?
when zack dies in crisis core, and when every dang member of your team dies in halo reach, including you. but one of the saddest is when tidus dissapears and yuna is lying patheticly on the floor.
I dunno. I guess Gabranth's death from FFXII or the fact that Deadly Towers exists.
Lesse, another moment is reading Hanna's Departure in Lost Odyssey.
When Sonic dies by the hand of Mephiles triggering the potential end of time and existence.

When Milder died at the end of Dink Smallwood game... Oh no, that made laugh

Seriously, when Dink's mother died at the burning cabin.
When I accidentally killed George.

When my Oblivion character of 150+ hours became unable to use the Night Mother or the Imperial Arena due to a buggy mod.
I think you meant Fable 3, LordDack.
Zack Fair's death. (Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII)
Terra's body disappearing, and him promising Ventus and Aqua that he will set things right. (Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep)
Class G's graduation. (Valkyria Chronicles 2) This is a happy ending, but it's sad too, because they had to go their own ways.

Aeris's death in FF7.
When Dinks mom died.
I cried during two or three short stories in Lost Oddysey, among other scenes in that game.
I also struggled with the ending of Shadow Hearts 2. Then, the ending of Xenosaga Episode III. There's more, including Aerith's death in FFVII because it was my first RPG and I was like 14. I was pretty much broken for the next three days xD
I easily get involved in a scene when the story and music harmonise into something beautiful.

Cataclysm's ending cinematic in World of Warcraft... seeing it was literally so bad and anticlimatic it made me very sad. I made a favor to myself and unsubscribed from that game pretty much that instant. I'm a dinker again!
The end of the test chamber with the Companion Cube in Portal.
Companion Cube will live on forever in my heart.
I don't think I've ever really gotten emotional over a video game before. But I never really play games with a serious story line.
