The Dink Network

Hi guys, can anyone from like 1998-2000 dink network remember what the network I think it used to be hosted on? It was a gaming community network where each game would have it's own community but would still be part of the larger gaming network.. Something like Gamespy Gamespot IGN but possibly wasn't those... also had bigger communities with separate domain names... Long shot I'm just trying to remember what the network was called?

Edit: Was IGN/Gamespy I guess figured it out anyway!

I didn't like when the games were hosted on Gamespy. I was so young back then I had trouble downloading

Save us Please please please talk to your staff on how they can ban someone. Your legacy is being destroyed as we speak. We need your help once more, if but for a short while Also, some members can't create an account for some reason (Shevek comes to mind) and they really deserve one. On the other hand, if this can be fixed, please remove ghost posting all together. That together with a ban feature can restore order to this place.

And I remember the telefragged days. For me, that was a site that loaded really fast on a 56k modem despite the content being on one page for the most part

Redink. If you wish to keep your site an enjoyable place for everyone, please do something about the current situation. Even the staff have begun thinking of simply creating another forum to replace hanging out here.

But people such as you, with your negative and stupid attitudes, prevent that from being. Absolution, Doodler and Predator should definitely be banned, and you should most certainly be put to your place too.

Well making another forum isn't hard at all. Thing is we'd be spreading a small community thin, but if that's what it takes to be free of the negativity, gimme the new forum right now.

I never said you should be banned. But you should be put in your place. You act like you own the site, and your behavior has indicated that nobody is allowed to be any different from what your thoughts of a tolerable person are.

Besides, the important part of a forum ain't how it looks, but how the people there are. Belive me, if the looks were the case, I wouldn't be here anymore. Besides, anyone here is able to create a better forum than that.

I think I did pretty well considering I set it up in 20 minutes.

Pred IS the most patetic and hopeless guy around. And I generally like the funny side of Yeolde, but he gets a bit too negative now and then, which really doesn't help anyone or anything xD At least he's not spamming like the rotten apples of the site.

I do have a problem with Predator, when he acts stupid. But some people are mad at him even when he isn't acting stupid, which goes to show these people are even more of a problem to this site. And even to these people, I at first try to calmly explain their mistake. Predator actually seems to be getting these calm messages, whereas the others aren't.

Yeolde, I just feel like he's mad at everyone when he feels like it, which is pretty much all the time.

Any situation in life where there is no punishment for misbehaving leads to great misbehaviour. It is human nature.

Implement punishment and you'll see some stay away and some adapt and be better persons. And no I'm not saying instaban anyone. First implement punishment, THEN give the delinquents a new, last chance to see the error of their ways

I don't get mad at Predator for no reason. Skull, please stop being Predisher's lapdog. I've replied sensibly in his sensible topics (which is none), and haven't said, "Duck you," all the time like he has. I would not post in his threads altogether if they weren't bumped all the time. He deserves a ban, but I certainly don't, and neither does Absolution.

Does Bumped up = Must flame in your world? How 'bout we have a poll on who should be banned? That should settle this. And P.S, I wouldn't care if was on the ban list, if I deserve it that is.
