It's really hard to choose… I mean I really like the story and mapping of assassins creed but I also love games like Fallout and Fable where you're exploring the whole game with lots of side quests. Fallout is much better than Fable by the way. So, if you combined assassins with fallout that would be my favorite game.

I'm seeing lots of games in this topic I really like, but my absolute favorites are the games with the amazing storylines. So I'm going to have to say it's a scramble between:

Persona 4
Persona 3
Final Fantasy 9

I can't think of any games I love as much as these. Don't get me wrong, I do love Final Fantasy 4, 5, 6, 7, (haven't played through 8), 10, and 13. But something about 9... So yeah, I'm a bit of a Final Fantasy nerd. Persona 2 is a great game too (but 1 seemed pretty crappy), but Persona 3 and 4 just felt like major steps up from it.

@ Leprochaun, I may of never played fallout, but Fable is still better, atleast TLC with the awesome storyline and art.

@ the topic, I really can't decide, there are many games I play as well, and cheaper then you guys. At the moment the game I want to play the most is Dragon age origins, unless we can get the nintenso 64 working then quest 64.

Yep, I've seen the Persona 4 anime all the way through and it's really really good. Has to be the best game to anime adaptation I've ever seen before... out of uh... two I've seen (the other being Tales of Symphonia OVA, which was quite good too)

There aren't many that go from game to anime. I never watched the TOS OVA but I played through that game at least a dozen times. I should really buy it again, it's so much more fun than Tales of Vesperia has been. I never played Persona 4 so I'm not sure what it's like.

@Leprochaun

Yeah, the TOS OVA is really good, if you don't mind Japanese language with subtitles. Normally I don't like watching with subtitles but it was very good and there was no alternative, so I didn't mind.

Persona 4 is kind of a hard game to explain, because it's a little different from most RPGs. I'm just guessing, but I think if you liked Tales of Symphonia you would really like Persona 4, but there are always exceptions. If you have the time and money, I do recommend looking it up and possibly buying it though.

I also recommend trying hard to get TOS again because it's gotten pretty rare from what I can tell. I've only beaten it three times contrasting to your twelve+, but I really love it. The first time I played it, I was borrowing it. I proceeded to beat it twice before returning it. The only other game I've beaten twice in succession like that is Dragon Quest VIII (another great game). Both those games are really long, so I wonder how I did it... Even though I enjoyed Persona 4 more it's also longer (100ish hour) and I didn't find myself wanting to play through it twice in a row.

Can't wait to try Tales of Xillia...

I don't mind subbed as long as it's well written. I've been on a huge anime binge over the last few months. I just finished watching Sword Art Online(which was awesome by the way) and that's only in subbed right now. I never played through TOS all by myself. I was always playing with at least one or two more people. I don't think I was any good at it though because I pretty much only played with Genus.

Persona 4 is really that long? I couldn't really tell what the game would be like from seeing the anime. It seemed like if it wasn't done right it'd be pretty repetitive.

I should really get a PS3. Although it might be better to wait until the PS4 comes out.
Xillia seems a lot more interesting than Vesperia. Vesperia just seemed so small to me.

The multiplayer is definitely one of favorite things about Tales of Symphonia. It's very fun to play with other people. I very much recommend the anime, which is all available on Youtube with english subtitles. Once you finish there is also some bonus stuff from the DVDs that's absolutely hilarious.

Persona 4 is really that long? I couldn't really tell what the game would be like from seeing the anime. It seemed like if it wasn't done right it'd be pretty repetitive.

I don't remember for sure but I think I had somewhere around 95 hours on my data after I finished Persona 4. So yeah, it's really long. The anime does a good job at portraying the game in so few episodes, but it doesn't have everything in it. For example in the anime there are parts where Yu bonds with the other characters 1 on 1, and in the game these are called social links. While they usually have a small piece of an episode or two in the anime, each social link has 10 parts with each part being at least a couple minutes (usually more). So the social links are a big part of the game. You also live out almost every day in the game, where the anime tends to skip around instead, so in that way, it's true that it can get a bit repetitive, but usually things are happening to keep it interesting. Also, every time they went in the TV world in the anime, they entered a dungeon and fought a boss, but the dungeon was ultra short; In the game on the other hand, the dungeons are actually a little bit lengthy. But honestly, I wouldn't say it's any more repetitive than Tales of Symphonia. Tales of Symphonia might not have huge dungeons, but they come one after the other many times. You won't have that same problem in Persona 4. Ultimately, if you love the story, humor, characters, and cutscenes, and the dungeon crawling between is not something that would bother you, you'll probably love the game. Otherwise, it could quickly become repetitive and boring. Also, there's no multiplayer option like you have in TOS. I really wish more RPG's would include that.

Xillia seems a lot more interesting than Vesperia

Agreed.

Dated? it used 3D pologons 2D instead spirtes there before aloowing you to zoom in and out in the game it was one of the first RTS to let you do that.
Not to mention 14 ages (15 in the expansion) rather just playing with caveman you have much more varitey in EE then AOE2

Im not not saying AOE is a bad game but i prefer EE.
