how many dinkers are currently listed on the dink network?

1098, 119 which are currently active (have signed on in the last 30 days).

Is it just me or is it somewhat pathetic that only 10% of the "dinkers" check in every once in a while? A much higher percentage actually votes on Election Day.

only 10%, you should check the ip's...

Well, that includes all accounts from 2001... people move on, most people create an account and never use it, some people forget their passwords and decide to make a new account, and so on. The vast majority of visitors don't have accounts anyway.

it would be nice like stuff like:

signed up : 2000 15 36

it's useless i know but....

And then you wonder when I make a point about only 19 people (or whatever) voting in the DOTM or something.

Well, we could add that, but the old accounts wouldn't have the sign up date. Ip checks have been done, and no one has multiple accounts...yet.

So what about Dynamic Ip's ? (for instance my changes dayly)

Thats where tracing comes in. But we really don't do this unless we truley suspect someone commiting the act. Everyone in awhile I go in and audit the accounts to check.
