Well, you should make it; I like the idea. I've made a temple in marble 3d model for my romp, you could use it for this.
Why not? It would be difficult in terms of graphic obviously. Most graphics for Dink are in a medieval theme and for Greek mythology you'd need different graphics. But I can't see why you couldn't use Greek mythology as a source of inspiration.
I'm too busy with my own projects, and I'm sure most of us are. But perhaps someone will use a DMOD based on Greek mythology...

why dont we make a thing kind of like a new button on this screen at the top (after after the personal mes. button) and have it named ideas were we can place the ideas we are to busy to work on or do not know how to create and let other people have a look at them when you find an idea you like you can "claim" it and make it with the help of the person how had that idea (i think if we place all these ideas in development no one would realy look at them because they would be busy)

You're suggesting a separate category on the board for story ideas? I think it wouldn't get enough posts to be viable. Ideas for stories aren't really discussed very often, mostly because people like to make their own story.
EDIT: We used to have an even more general 'stories' category, and that one was axed because of a lack of new discussions/stories. If that category didn't work out I can't see this one working either.

Wasn't CC2 made by SabreTrout and his brother? Arguably that came out horribly wrong. 
This is an excellent idea. Dink could be Hercules and he has to go and help out people with heavy lifting, and then one day he goes and sees people turned to stone and then he has to defeat Medusa and ride Pegasus around and stuff. Then he goes to the underworld to defeat Hades.

Actually working together with only one other person has been tried in the past and it has worked out more than once. Usually two people who knew each other already. When you go up to larger groups is when you start getting problems... (Most importantly that the map file can only be edited by one person at a time.)

Heracles is also know as Hercules.
I'm sorry but Hercules is Roman, Heracles is Greek. So they're not identical.

ok intense explination
greek mythology is the a long story of (how the greeks delive) the world was created with this main story there are many other side storys(that would be side qustes if we were talking about a d-mod) so any one can grabe a good story add a few known myths and make a d-mod (in short you can do a lot)

I actually once considered making a D-Mod based on the Odyssey. Even if you don't use the entire storyline, there's still plenty in it. Heracles' tasks would indeed be another good one.
Iliad... I can't really see an entire D-Mod based on that. Too many characters involved, though Achilles would probably be a primary focus point. On the other hand, if you could do a multiple-person storyline like in Cycles of Evil, it can turn out to be quite interesting.
Personally, I'd like to see something from the Trojan perspective. Work in some Aeneid and/or Trojan Women.

Don't make too many of them, it will annoy people. I personally don't mind if you have an idea and you like to share it, but making an entire series of topics is generally not a good idea...
