New sprites in WinkEditPlus
Hey Dinkers,
I'm a (sort of) new Dink player, atleast, new in making DMODS.
I've got a question about inserting new sprites into WinkEditPlus --> I just downloaded the file 'bmp_dinkpack' which is quite handy to edit the excisting people from the game.
For example, I made a yellow bonca from the origional brown bonca,
My question then is: How can I insert the yellow bonca into WinkEditPlus, so I can use him?
Couldn't find my answer in the forums, so now I'm trying to get answers in my first new topic..
Hopefully someone can help me out.

You will probably need to edit a file called "dink.ini"
dink.ini can be found in any D-Mod directory, go into your D-Mod's folder and open it in notepad or something. There are tutorials on how to add things sprites in dink.ini, I think there is one in the help file that comes with Dink 1.08.

Hello
I think this tutorial has a section on adding new graphics, and it's well worth a read through anyway!

Another good idea is to go to the Dink Smallwood directory on your computer and go to the 'develop' folder, open 'dinkc.chm' and read through the 'techniques' section. The last page there is about new graphics and such. And the pages before are very helpful in learning the basics of DinkC.
Hey there,
Thanks for the replies, I'm sure my problem is solved now

Creating enemy sprites is another file the could be helpful if you plan on making alternative enemies.
