Prophecy of the Ancients

Episode 1 - Destruction & Distraction
In this part we see Milder get his ass whooped by giant explosions, talk to pigs and ducks who can't talk, and explore the island with killing some monsters.

Episode 2 - Shryke
In this part I talk about all sorts of crap cause I'm tired, kill the fake Shryke and rescue the real one. We also get a Slime morph which helps us get further in the game.

Episode 3 - Goblins
In this part we do stuff. We try to look for magic potions while we are being annoyed by goblins. Nothing big.

Episode 4 - New Rune
In this part we go try and save the king, we get a new rune, and also have to save the king once again due to us failing at the first attempt.

In this part we buy a few new weapons. Go to the dungeon under the town which name I can't remember. We also do a little bit of cleaning and find a mysterious artifact while doing so.

i can't hardly wait for you to mop up the brains of that wizard in the next room after Dink bashed it in . also it gives one of the coolest magic items in most dmods. a shame there are no topic discussions i can enjoy myself with the ones for the other lp's.

and that poor slime killed by a higher level dink then i was when i first plaed the dmod muahahahahahahahaha.
and i hate slimes too because they are even easier then Pillbugs. (due to their vast numbers)

Technically, "Episode" is wrong though; its a Part, lol.
An Episode is the entire playthrough of a Dmod (LPDS, Let's play HotMN, etc). At least in my opinion.

Anyway, I like to call them episodes. Makes more sense to me. The whole LP I would just simply call a Let's Play.

sofar i've only watched the first part of the new "episode" but even if it was you being lucky the timing of the blacksmith fun-making was epic the music stopped at just the right time )(i'll tell my full opinion after seeing all 3 parts).

Edit: i didn't think the commentary wasn't crappy. and i don't find it that necessary for you the read the dialog's. and that's because i'm a true blue bookworm and love reading. But the Bonca transformation though useful now later will be useless as actual weapons outweigh the defense bonus of the Bonca(but that you'll reveal soon enough ). but though i can't be sure if it is him but it most likely is Skorn(that's just being immature IMHO.) and please tell me if i have to sensor that.

As for the question you asked. Slimes are more annoying, because they are infuriating, worthless, deadly puddles of crap.

And they suck. They suck balls.
Especially yellow ones. Even if they're weaker... they annoy me.

nice new part. as for the question slimes are way more annoying. they are numerous and you basically bore yourself to death before they are killed. i want to blow them into smithereens.

nice vids and i agree ice-ball is awesome but it is a shame the ice shards can harm Dink. it also is a small shame it doesn't work on bosses but then again then it would be ridiculously overpowered. killing rockmonsters in 1 hit is awesome though. ok 2 hits(the spell and your fists or whatever you have equipped).

Iceball is way too powerful But it's also so fun to use and was definitely my favorite spell

great new episode . and the video confirmed what i said last time(the ice shards piece). and forthe fun question. i like the Pota castle more simply because it has more to explore even if goodheart is better protected due to the knight numbers.

The Prophecies of the Ancients castle is obviously cooler. Suppose there would be a travel flyer for the region.
"Visit castle POTA and go on a sightseeing tour of the area!"
That would get you a tour of the larger castle, meet interesting people (more than just the king) and maybe actually get to eat the food in the throne room! (I think Goodheart's food must be rotten by now...).
But then there's the area around the castle. There's many war sites to visit with great lore attached to them (instead of just stories but not proof of any war, around Goodheart). There's a haunted forest! Tunnel systems! Mountain ranges that aren't corrupted like the Darklands! Changes in topography with dried out rivers! And last but not least... less slimes!

Book your trip back in time now! Visit the POTA region for only 1799 gold! (Low budget can be solved by grinding, I still have nightmares from seeing Robj grind for the Flame Bow...)

I guess this'll be staying open for more time after all. I can't work on this on the coming weekend, so the fun question will probably be open still until the very end of Sunday.

ok i'll do both of the d-mod questions(since fiction writing is a hobby of mine this is fun for me )

fun question:
i get lost more often in the haunted forest. but still i love exploring maze like areas but those dang slimes make the forest a hell

and the Shryke question:
they needed shryke to lean about the water of Kronos and get the most of the waters effect so the king would be healed faster then with the basic knowledge they have of the water of Kronos.

I get lost more often in the haunted forest.
The haunted forest is where I find myself going around in circles, raging at slimes and getting frustrated to the point where I want to destroy my computer with a chainsaw. The dungeon wasn't as much of labyrinth than than the dang haunted forest; although, technically it is moreso, since a labyrinth more often refers to a structure of sorts, with interconnecting passages.. so that fails. dang, now I've gone off-topic.
Anyway, I never found myself getting lost in the dungeon, but I did get lost in the haunted forest, and the fact that it's filled with yellow slimes doesn't help either. Everyone knows how much I hate slimes if they've seen my LP's. But at least I get lots of satisfaction carving them up with the sword - something that is easy to do here, since they are slow, and they suck on the balls of a spanner-spanking, nut-sack, donkey-camel-hybrid, which was cross-bred with a two-headed goblin and genetically modified to assume a position that resembles a drunken pterodactyl, as a self-defence tactic. Now picture that.. or don't, cause that's just disturbing, which is a direct indicator that I need sleep.. and I need sanity.. the dink network owes me that.
Anyway, in short: I'm sure the haunted forest was made to make me want to tear my eyeballs out so I don't have to look at the influx of yellow slimes that annoy the crap out of me when I enter the forest.

That's why the haunted forest is easier to get lost in.
