I found on either a PC PowerPlay or PC Gamer disc - it was a 101 free games thing-y. I tried to play it and though I loved it, I couldn't figure out how to get out of Stonebrook. I lost the file and CD, but googled it down later on... I found TDN, which I used for about a year prior to joining.
On CNet, about 10 years ago. I was looking for a free game to download to my Win '95. It took sooo long to download.

I found it in some freeware CD which came at my dad's beetwen a magazine. Though, I'm about to order the CD version.

I got it off of my friend Daimon. I played it on his PC, and he installed it for me a while later, and for pretty much all of our friends. He got it in a PC Magazine shortly after it went freeware. Thems were the days.

The Megagames link doesn't have a Trojan on it whatsoever, actually. It's full of crack though. 
I first learned of Dink from the demos that were on the CD that came with PC Gamer. I later ordered the CD off the Internet (once I finally had access to it).
Ok, I really found out about Dink when I was searching info about Osama Bin Ladden by google. Then I found this and was completely draft in.
