Just had the same exact issue. Found the husband. Came back wife was missing. Saved at 3:56 in North Private. Reloaded game thinking it glitches. Reloaded the 3:56 game. It loads me into my house in Morabia with my play time at 3:26 wanting me to find the girl in the cave again. I've saved about 10 times since then.
So this is Def a Dmod breaking bug.
