Riddle gate.
Trials of a Boy - Enter The Iceland
i'm stuck at the riddle gate i wonder what the answer is so could anyone help me?
never mind figured it but now the game freezes on me
so is that the end or is there more to do?

I see well darn hope it is finished soon than as it is clear there was more planned and well was a great mod to play even if feels unfinished
On its way, hopefully. That file hasn't even been out for a year, so don't expect anything soon.
Hey guys can anyone Help me??
I think Im already reaching the end, I killed the 3 evil fairies and after killing them I need to find some sort of scroll to set free marina, I really dont know where to find it...
Please! Thanks a lot

If you hit the middle bookshelf in their house/den/whatever you want to call it, you'll be able to get to a room with the scroll to free marina, a golden heart, and some gold.

The final scene, after freeing Mariana from the prison. ends in a system lockup.
Mariana says "dig here" and the scene changes to black background with a few white tree outlines.
The dialog shows some effort to dig and find the "final?" treasure but the system locks at that point, forcing a hard reboot. Any suggestions would be appreciated...

I had the same outcome after Dink digs where Marina directs. I tried it on three computers, with the same freeze-up. I even tried loading both for full-screen and for Windows. It's a great game that drops dead in the middle.
I am a little late in the thread.
After digging, there is a stairs down to a cave with some fights along the way. If you haven't yet encountered the "Poor sailor, stuck in the wintery Blistering hell...", inside the bar with green walls ... it's worth the walk.

Necrobump 2022,
So, ten years later, this stuff CAN be beaten in FreeDink without having to reboot the computer, but not without issues: the freezes at digging DO happen (but on Windows at least you can kill FreeDink with Ctrl+Alt+Del and a task manager) UNLESS you press spacebar really rapidly to make dialog go as fast as possible, and some hotel room is better not visited, because you won't be able to walk out of it.
The riddle seemed rather simple for a non-native English speaker like me, but yeah, that's the end of the game, and overall it is thus too short to have an "Exceptional" rating. Not bad (although could do with some rebalancing, monsters sure are tough), but short.
P.S. Similar freeze as in rescuing Marina here happens in FreeDink in another d-mod called Cast Awakening: Initiation, when watching the proper ending, it is also can be avoided with rapid spacebar pressing. Perhaps a separate thread needs to be created about it, unless it is a known bug. Also, I dunno if music stopping playing at the same time as hard-freeze happens is the symptom or the cause.
