Evaria - The Game
Some of you (okay, only one; Karnax) in the Dink chat were looking for new games to play. As such I mentioned my own game that I developed, a demo of sorts, and Karnax started nagging me about getting it so he could play.
My end decision was that I'd release it to all the Dinkers.
To explain, it's a simple RPG game I created using RPG Maker XP back in the days when I had a WORKING laptop pc. The laptop itself no longer works, so it sits in a drawer rotting.
Of course, with the laptop out of action I had thought all access to the game lost apart from those few people who already knew about and had a copy of it, though an older version.
A few weeks ago I found a copy of my game demo on a friend's laptop, remembering I had kept a backup on my mate's computers via usb drive. So, I took it back via usb drive again to my computer to see how far the version was progress wise. Turns out it's almost as far as I had made the game so far, minus the swamp and second villiage/town.
Due to requests for it, I have now uploaded the extractor file to the internet once again (the previous upload location killed it after a while of inactivity).

To play the game however you also need RGSS RTP Standard. You can find that Here.
Originally this was an alpha/beta version. Since I can't complete it though without access to the software I used to create it (editor won't run on my Vista desktop pc but game DOES run on Vista and XP) it's highly unlikely to get an update or full version.
If you feel like playing it, enjoy. Hopefully none of you mind that there is some Dink music in there from some Dmods, I originally made this as a personal test project and it wasn't going to be released to the majority of the public aside from a few people.
There's also a Dink refference to Milder (a dead milder mind you lol).

Very interesting file. I've always liked consol style RPGs and this one is a masterpiece. I too am making an RPG using the rm2k. It's a game where you have to be the best criminal you can in a medieval style landscape.
Technically its not a masterpiece rofl. I messed up a HELL of a lot in this version where there were some corrections on the latest (and unreachable) version stored in the recesses of my broken Laptop.
For example, talking to the horse at the start of the game gives away the first character's name lmao. Total ruining of storyline.
Then theres the fact that Darren is underpowered, but that plays to advantage, making the 2nd boss fight tough as it should be.
