A new Dmod and a very good one in all respects, very neat graphics and storyline, which had one thinking very hard in a number of places. maybe it needed just a couple of more pillbugs or the odd bonca to make it a little more interesting when trying to work out the next move.
The description didn't lie, this is a short romp, but it reeks of experience in dmod making, and thus ... quality.
Mapping was nice, Brassweasel was probably a gardener for English royal family in his before life. Although you probably can pass through a hedge in those gardens with a little force and touch of hooliganism, hardness is done well here, and no such feat is possible. Which is always nice. Aside from gardens with nice graphics, several different and unique areas can be found here, each one stylized nicely with awesome effects.
Story is pretty straightforward, though with a... plot twist. Interactions with NPCs are entertaining, and there are several clever ideas there (encounter with a blacksmith was my favourite). Puzzles aren't complicated, you always know what to do next, and it's a real breeze to go through it.
Combat is sparse and also easy, but considering that that wasn't the goal of this dmod, it's okay.
Music was nice, although I don't usually pay attention to that, each song gave an extra layer of ambience for every area (did I say that right...?).
There is one major bug for the gameplay, however it is easily fixable, so but by the time you read this, it'll probably be dealt with, so no biggie.
Play time is around 20~30 minutes, and it's overall enjoyable dmod, good for relaxation.
Considering the complexity of the story, mostly, I give this little mod 8.3
Don't miss it.
