yawn, what a waste of time to play this game. And what's with the ghost busters theme? But I guess it's not so bad after all... It's a nice idea, but the story should have been completely worked out. Don't give up Neo, You're definetly improving and I bet your next dmod will rock!
This is a short d-mod. Okay a REALLY short d-mod. (The author's first) But it's got some neat ideas anyway. At the start, instead of just sending you off with nothing, you get to select from a few items. Then the boss (who you meet immediately) has a special ability, which I won't give away, but it's well done and nice to see in a d-mod this size. Ii kind of back-fired on him when played, I don't know if that was intentional or not. You also get a lightsaber (Dinksaber) but don't really have anything to use it on at that point. One screen edge match-up problem (the lake), but otherwise no bugs found.
This sure was a nice surprise.
After numerous of "this is my first dmod" dmods filled with bugs, mapping errors, poor grammar and numerous other flaws, this dmod is near bugless, and has a nice idea to it.
It's a small, réally small dmod. It's well crafted though. Instead of the usual "here you are, find out what to do" you get a nice intro, get to choose your equipment, and then you must fight the boss. what? yeah. This boss is pretty cool, I won't spoil it, but it's nice to see such a thing. After beaten the boss you can wander around in the small, not too detailed map, and get the Light Saber, to slay some pigs and stuff. After that you can walk to the end of the game. All this will be done in no more than 6-7 minutes, but it were a fun 6-7 minutes at least. Thumbs up Neo
GRAPHICS 6: No new ones, and the map's barely detailed. Could be better.
SOUND 5: Didn't like the midis. No new sounds.
GAMEPLAY 7: Nice, some cool ideas, but a little too short for my taste.
LASTING APPEAL 5: Not very long, but nice enough to replay some times.
TOTAL: 6.8
This dmod is not too special, but a nice suprise after armies of stinky dmods lately. Looking forward to later work of Neo. Download it!
