Okay... A good tutorial on hardness. It gives clear concise information about sprite hardness, who to see it, change it and it's impact with things like sp_hard() and sp_nohit() - all good stuff.
Tile hardness - also good information. Copy and pasting is detailed well - and that is now a lot easier with WinDinkEdit vers 8+. In fact that's what I use it is so fast.
Editing the existing tile hardness. Ah... this is what I'm after and it still seems undiscovered territory - although Paul has made some headway here. I remember trying to edit hardness in Isle of Croth and stuffing things up completely - then I tried again in SOB (there is one hardness setting that can actually snag the player and sometimes trip you into the wrong area - its a green hill one too which drove me nuts in SOB) and didn't have any success.
Hopefully someone will crack this last area of tile hardness in a clear and concise way one day
