This dmod is a lot better than I thought it would be. The plot is rather interesting though untold for the most part and, full of holes.

There's not much music and most that is is from original Dink. Your objectives are kinda unclear but by wandering around it's easy to progress. The dmod is very easy and the few bosses you have to fight are weaker than normal enemies.

There are also megapotions in every second screen of the dmod. Why? I have absolutely no idea. The points I've given to this dmod come for the most part from hilariosity. The dmod was very funny....though that could be due to my sleepless night and a caffein overdoze. Ho-hum.

Music is good but I don't think you can finish this mode. There are places you get teleported to like two different wells that you cannot get back from. You end up on a iceland full of trees. You can walk on water and into a cave that has nothing much. Walking on water will get you some potions, which you cannot use because you cannot get back or out of this ice area. There is a square trap hole that has hearts and a potion that does not disappear when you walk over it. The trap does not work. If you go the way you came in past the dragons to the well and try to teleport back it does not work. Nothing like paying a game that you cannot back to the places you came from after retrieving an item, all the work for nothing. It seems to have to many bugs.

I won't go into a big explanation. It wasnt bad, but I would have liked more weapons and maybe a spell to use all the potions. My thing was, after I killed Ethel, I am in front of the king and he says Hooray blah blah blah, then nothing happens. Weird.

Hmmm.. weird dmod. Gave me a weird, mixed feeling. In the beginning I thought it could be a pretty fun dmod, but soon my vision changed. I think this dmod is about DO NOT ENTER WELLS, because I entered two of 'em (which ended up being the same one) and I couldn't get out.
The map is fairly big, but there's not much to do. I had to quit the dmod 'cause on a certain point I couln't make any progress. I think it's save to say this dmod is unfinished.
Graphics were kinda nice in the beginning, what with the nice scenery and all, but that dramatically changed. There was a lack of music, and what there was, was bad.
Positive thing was the dmod was not too hard nor too easy. Well, ofcourse, this couldn't save this véry mediocre dmod.

GRAPHICS 5: No new ones, and except for the beginning the scenery wasn't good.
SOUND 3: Too little, and bad music. No new sounds.
GAMEPLAY 4: Wasn't clear what to do, got stuck in a well you can't get out, and more of such.
LASTING APPEAL 3,5: pretty big map to explore, but you'll quit after a while because it simply isn't any fun.

TOTAL: 4.2

This is not a good dmod. Work on it and it can eventually turn out to be a nice dmod.

Not a bad d-mod.
The first time I played it I went down a well without talking to the king and finished the game that way. I started again and talked to the king BEFORE going down the well. I prefered the second way because you get more goodies. I thought the end boss was pretty amusing.
There were these real tough pillbugs that gave you 50 exp and then in a locked screen there was a larger pillbug (boss i think) that I killed with one hit and gave me 150 experience. I wish you'd put more of them in!
Also, How do you get on to that hill in the ice world?

LIKES:
*The underground house
*The midis(when there were some)
*Simple plot but good game
*Some map tiles were good
*Lots of potions (Not a great deal of fighting was needed

DISLIKES:
*In some places there were'nt any midi's
*Plot was a bit unclear
*Doesn't take long to finish
*Other map tiles were quite bare
*No magic or weapons

Overall not a bad little romp. I recommend this for anyone that wants an enjoyable d-mod to fill in a bit of time.
