New Graphics: Trees, Tiles, and Rocks
Posted by redink1 on Monday April 2nd, at 09:19 PM
Dinkme has released a graphics pack titled Trees, Tiles, and Rocks which contains graphics for a jellyfish, lightning sword, and banana cannon. Or maybe it does actually contain trees, tiles, and rocks... the only way you'll know for sure is to stop what you're doing and download this right now.

Posted by redink1 on Monday April 2nd, at 09:24 PM
Slime, who I hope to never shake hands with, has released a brand new D-Mod with the catchy title Honor of the Cast: Slimes. This is planned to be the first part of a trilogy heptology of D-Mods. So, try it out, and be sure to post a screenshot or a review.

Carrie has released her eighth D-Mod, presenting Dinkorro in The Lost Amulet. An angel asks Dinkorro, the ever-fashionable sword fighter of legend, to retrieve... a cabbage? A carrot? No, a lost amulet!

dink squad project status
Posted by joshriot on Wednesday April 4th, at 12:21 PM
the status of the dink squad project is currently to remake the dink squad page. the page will be done in xhtml strict or something. basically if you dont know about web design, what that means is the layout is going to be updated from about caveman era html tables and frames method to modern day headless duck and dragon carcass methods.

i need some volunteers. mainly someone who likes making graphics and redink1 to help me also.

1. someone to create a form to automatically upload the pictures to email them to my address?

2. someone to make some fresh logos, preferably one around size 80X80 of a headless duck and then one around 600px long like the old logo carrie made of a sword that says dink squad

3. if i purchased a domain name could i use it for dink squad and how?

the prizes for whoevers graphics i get that i use will get BONCA T SHIRTS made by talented bonca artist Sharp, these are very rare because i think i have only 3 of them. if you send me a logo that i dont use you will still be my friend.

start sending in logos or whatever asap. i have the site layout complete and need only some new logos and a form to email me pictures.

once this new site is up, i want it to have a domain name, pic upload form, new logos, and of course the new design i have, then we will hopefully start trying to get all the new people to send in their pics and striker to stop being an ass and send in a real one. this is all for now.

Posted by redink1 on Sunday April 22nd, at 10:14 PM
Carrie found The Lost Amulet, and updated it to v1.01. This version fixes the healer's script and slows the elf down. Hooray for tranquilizer darts.

Updated File: Wind Scar v3.0

dinkme slashed about wildly and came up with Wind Scar v3.0. He's made some small-but-significant changes, such as making the spell do more damage when the player has more magic points.

New Development D-Mod: Survival

From Erwin comes a rather creative idea for a D-Mod. In Survival, Dink must hunt and forage to prevent himself from starving. Cool.

New D-Mod: Bill & Kill 1: *SIGH*
Posted by redink1 on Sunday April 22nd, at 10:42 PM
Jameil has released Bill & Kill 1: *SIGH*. Yes, the subtitle is actually '*SIGH*', and that is not my attempt to make fun of the D-Mod. It looks like it could very well be one of the worst D-Mods ever made, though, so at least the subtitle is accurate.

Supposedly, the author took "543 tries to finish it". I'm pretty sure he is lying like a cow does under the bitter moonlight of January... when the sun shines too slow in the day, and the touch of death lurks in frigid shadows. "Moo", says the cow to the moon, "Moo"... if only he could make an 'en' sound, then at least he could voice his discontent to the heartless glow. He tries to stand up on undernourished legs, but its last vestiges of body heat melted the snow under its craggy, matted belly, and he's frozen to the ground. Lying there, unable to get up under any effort, hoping that someone invents a gentle, cow-proof flamethrower in the next 3 minutes.

Er, my point is, I would be very surprised if the author finished it at all. While it may be 'possible', it is 'possible' the author is a 56-year-old-mutant-dog-with-a-learning-disability.
