You can now vote for the April 2002 Download of the Month. There were quite a few new files last month, which is always a good thing. I also created a new Interactive Story for May, after I forgot to make one for April. Contribute a few chapters, and all will be well. |

Since RedInk is on dial up and won’t be getting much done I decided to do a recondite. View the comments to read. UPDATE: I'm so freaking pissed. I just fell for one of those virus e-mails but luckily my virus software caught it and contained it before anything could happen. I received what looked to be a e-mail for a old dink named Coconut Monkey with the subject line "Dink Network utilizes highly modified databases", upon opening it the virus is imbedded in the e-mail (meaning all you have to do is read the e-mail and you're screwed), and Norton 2002 started scream at me. This looks to be a new version of the old virus that was going around awhile back. Be on the look out and make sure to get some anti-virus software if you don't already have some because you could get a totally innocent looking e-mail that will turn and bite you in the butt. | Christiaan has released Legend of TerraEarth Demo 2, which includes quite a few improvements over the previous version. I was one of the earlier version's harshest critics... and this version does fix quite a few of the problems I had with it. |

| New Patch: Stone of Balance v2.11a (Updated) |

Apparently the rub the genie bottle wasn't really fixed in v2.11, but SimonK says it is fixed in v2.11a. SimonK sent me Stone of Balance Patch 11a, which fixes a few bugs. "I've gone thru and fixed a few bugs that Matthew Bond pointed out. Namely being able to translocate off Story 4 into other lands. Making the Genie Bottle in Story 2 rubbable again. Seems patch 10 or 9 took that away." Stone of Balance v2.11a full will be uploaded as soon as I give someone with broadband upload access. |
