: ok, im not sure i get this time stuff... i changed the time in the preferences to the closest time tot he time here, in New Zealand, but now all the times on the forum ate things like 12:08 AM, but that time hasn't been yet!! the difference betweent he forum timezone and the actual time here isn't enough to account for that, so what exactly does that time field show??

I'm not sure what you mean, exactly. All the times on the board are changed when you choose your timezone in the preferences... the time field should show the current time, and then will automatically offset the time for every message on the board... if you still have problems, let me know.

: also, i have some suggestions to the forum, which shouldn't be too hard to impliment:

Sure, sure.

: 1.- change the smilie table at the bottom so we dont have to scroll down to see the submit button. i know, im lazy, but how about having another submit button to the left of the textarea box?? or move it there??

Yeah, I thought of moving the smiley box somewhere else too. I probably will.

: 2.- put a "reply to this mesage" on every message on the thread, in non-threaded mode. its really annoying having to scroll to the top of the page, esp. after having read a LONG thread (they will come, trust me )

I've thought about it... but non-threaded mode isn't a priority, since I always use threaded It will be added eventually.

: 3.- (this is not really so important, and may allready be available):

: make it so that if the therad is three messages long, like so:

: --msg1

: --msg2

: --msg3

: and i reply to msg2 (once the above is implimented), my post appears between msg2 and msg3:

: --msg1

: --msg2

: ---mypost

: --msg3

: then, if someone replies to my post, it appears just after mine. if someone replies to msg1, it would appear just after msg1, and mefore msg2. this is really usefull, because it allows you to insert your thoughts/comments at the right place in the que!! (ahhh Q...)

Yeah, I know what you mean. The non-threaded messages will change order (eventually), even if it is only by date and not in order of the 'thread'. I just need to think of a good way to code it...
