This really is not all that I intended it to be. I was hoping to create a file that would allow you to replace the hair on the character sprites. It was planned that I would have several hilarious wigs in addition to the normal sprite hair, but unfortunately I was lazy and only got around to making the blond hair. Another mistake I made was not supplying any sprites to work with in this BMP pack. These are all things that I intend to remedy for the next version...

The story behind this file was not spetacular. I had been experimenting with seperating hair sprites from their counterparts for an upcoming D-Mod, and came up with the idea of having a single palette of all the differant types of hair. It has proved quite useful for my D-Mod, though, as a resource, I do no that it will prove extremely useful for the user... hmmm...

The heads on all the character sprites (including the gnomes) are all about a standard size. There are several problems with sprite animations which I am trying to work out. (the intention was that one could make a D-Mod in which Dink has differant hair). I had planned to have resources for completly replacing hair for an entire animation cycle- along with the current GIF samples, I had hoped to include a few AVI files, but, once again, I was lazy and so that did not happen.

All in all, I think that as a resource this is a fair file, but not a great one. I hope that other Dinkers are able to work with the hair that I have supplied, however.

(ps, Sorry if the readme is a bit confusing. I tend to write in a kind of stream-of-consciousness mood when trying to explain the usage of my own creations. Hopefully I did not leave anything out, and it is still understandable.)
