: What do you prefer, vast landscapes (that is, large places to explore) or small settings (that is, a nice landscape to guide you from a story related place to the next and some places to explore) ?

I prefer large landscapes, because they give you more of a fell of teh land. Dink did this quite well, as only little parts of teh landscape were available to you at once, so you ended up exploring almost every little bit of teh map.

HOWEVER, the worst thing is having a landscape with not much on it. i *hate* having to repeatedly travel from one side of the map to the other, for quests. Make quests short hops, and don't involve too much travelling, and you'll gain a good 1.5 points on any review of mine
