So, I started to test my D-Mod today and it didn't let me play the D-Mod. It said it had somekind of virus. I downloaded it again and it told it again. I cleaned the file, but now I ran into other problems.

I tried to play it but it shows me to go do some changes into the options.

So, when I open the options, what must I have checked. Currently, I have checked:
-Dink.exe: Update dinksmallwood.ini

-Show developer buttons

So I checked those, what must I put into the "Choose Dink application"? I've set it to DFArc.exe. It only opens the DFArc when I press the play button.

Also, I've set the "Choose Editor application" into dinkedit.exe.

But I can't play the D-Mods! What did I do wrong in the options? What must I check and change to play the D-Mods?

Please help,
Skull

Set the "Choose Dink application" to dink.exe, not DFArc.exe. It should work again if you change that.

As you recently re-installed Dink I think the problem might be in the dinksmallwood.ini file. Try running dink.exe once, then see if the problem continues.

But I don't have dink.exe. It is supposed to be in C:\Program Files\Dink Smallwood, isn't it?

Sorry to double post, but I think it might be because I had to clean the file.

I think so because when I downloaded Dink, I saved it into my downloads -folder, then I installed it. After that, the computer informed about a virus, I cleaned the file, and now, when I try to find the installer that I downloaded, it has disappeared from the downloads -folder.

Ok, sorry to TRIPLE post, but I really need to know this: Are other people able to copy the dink.exe in the Dink Smallwood -folder? Since I'm not, and I'm wondering if it's because of the virus or is it normal.

So yeah, are others able to copy, move and/or remove the dink.exe from the Dink Smallwood -folder?

GlennGlenn doesn't want a custom title.
Restart computer in safe mode and do a full computer scan, then reinstall Dink, k.

Yes, I can move/copy Dink.exe.

Try scanning your computer for virusses, and delete all infected files (if your D-Mod scripts are affected, for example, make sure to backup the content).

Then remove Dink Smallwood from your harddrive (go to control panel, software and remove Dink Smallwood). Then download Dink Smallwood again and install it.

It should do the trick.

Weird...

I did nothing to the computer but shut it down. And this morning when I started it up, uninstalled Dink, and downloaded/installed it again, it worked perfectly.

Hmm...
