Now Im not on here all that often. Yet it seems to me that ever since Dan Walma left things have been decling at a very slow rate. Im just posting this because I dont want this site to die and I just wish the site and community in general was more active. I dont meen to cast a dark cloud but this has been nagging me for a long time.

Dude, this game is almost as old as me, it's got to die someday. But, it's done pretty well so far.

ive been around a while many people come and go myself included yet every time i come back after a long time i see tons of new people and that is the crux of the dink network: time travel. people obviously are fans of dink in the future who travel back in time and trick us into thinking they are new people simply to give me the idea that all kinds of new people are getting into dink smallwood every day. dink is clearly a virus that can go dormant inside a victims body and reemerge decades later, why else would people like wesley and someone appear out of years of absence the simple truth is you can hide but sooner or later the DDC is gonna find you and your children and your childrens children.

All these threads about the Networks death are the only things that are killing it, I’d say.

We can out-drink most Americans!
Didn't we already discuss this?? I have been here (or around here) about 12 years now. Only thing I see dying is that silly poll thing . Nothing is dead until the fat lady sings, and I am not in a singing mood today.

Daniel, there are clowns.
Heh, it just wouldn't be the same here without our bi-annual "Is the Dink Netork dying?" thread. It was around when I joined and it will continue to be so for years to come.

Yeah, they should replace the poll with a picture of a tombstone that says 'Polls -RIP' or something.

Whilst the Network isn't dying, I would agree that there are far fewer developers nowadays. I still see Pilgrim's Quest as being one of the more recent successes... yet that was released nearly 5 years ago.

There just don't seem to be many (any?) active developers at the moment.

well im working on something pretty unique thats all i can say, and i havent played i kara gu but it sounds like its pretty good isnt that after pilgrim's quest? and what about someone coming back after all these years and releasing the mouse dink? not to mention rabid obviously has the ability to create a pretty good dmod with all the development goodies he keeps putting out, we all just have to wait and see if that ever happens

What about these? Most of those should be still in development.

Well, maybe some of them.

I'm a developer.

Maybe I have the potential to make a great epic someday too?
