The Dink Network

So, after some laziness and confusion about the internal workings of miasma, we've finally gotten around to releasing the two d-mods involved in our Rise to Power contest. Our first entry is newcomer nawal's d-mod about a Kingdom of Chaos, entitled... The Kingdom of Chaos Part 1.

I'm stuck! I got as far as mixing the potion and putting it where I'm supposed to.
(I don't want to give things away at this point). But, I don't know what to do
next? I've been trying to find someone to rebuild the bridge, but nobody's
talking much; other than that, I
don't have a clue as what to do next?

I am glad that finally the DMods are up. But what LAME excuses were you guys telling all this time. Too bad really

We're not all teenagers with time to fritter away, Drink. That's not an excuse, that's called growing up and having more pressing responsibilities than uploading files to the Dink Network.

When I have the time, I'll come to TDN and do what I can.

Well you're both ahead of me! I got poisoned and now I have no clue what to do next. No helpful princesses around and I haven't heard nuffin about no potion neither

But I can make a nice pie

To Sparrowhawk, and Kat (both cool names I might add), I had to mix the potion at
my house, did you get the snake, conch
shell, AND blue stone? It should work!
Kat: I got poisioned also. My poision
level WAS at 10%, and then I took a nap.
Don't DO THAT!! Right now I'm in the next town over,
(you can wade thru the river), and I'm
trying to figure out HOW unpoision
myself; if anyones got an answer, then
please let us know!
P.S. IF yo need to know where the ingredients are, then post it, and I'll do my best
to explain where they are.

I've only got a problem with finding that stupid snake, I've got the shell and stone.
Don't POST the whereabouts here if you don't want to spl01t3r people's gameplay, message it to the people who are having trouble since you're so far ahead.

As for taking the nap, too late 25% poisoned now.

the other place, and look around.

I understand what you mean, I'll try to keep it to a bare minimum. Right now I'm
stuck, so I guess I'll have to go to the Author?!

It seems that you have to go to sleep to advance the story and that being able to "wade" through the water is a bug.

But if that's the case, I'm gonna wake
up dead!

Well, I restarted the game on level 1 of
the game save, and kept the other in level 2.
I got the potion all mixed and dumped
in the right place; but, if I can't cross the river then I'm more stuck now than when I was!? Any advice to an old Dink fool?
I also found out that I can't nap any more!
That's a relief!

Such generalizing! not all teens have time to boot!

bout da mod, nice screens, loaded with hardness issues. loads of dialog, few instructions.
y'know, though, no game this small should have you stuck. Explore, experiment...you'll find a way eventually

The poison is an essential part of the dmod. The goal of the game is to get u explorin, interacting with various items/objects, trying different screens...etc. and please forget about the water bug it would b helpful if some1 actually told me where it is so that i could consider correcting that in a newer version, if i'm destined to. thanks for playing this all.

Jeeze I can't beleive I had to mix it at Dink's house...LOL. OK finished the game, some bugs and hardness spots, but learnt my lesson well from SimonK and saved alot. Will be writing a review asap.
