Re: Math!
if i sat down and thought about it i could get it. but the last two lines are identical. the sqaure root of a number, when squared, will be identical to the original number e.g: 16 root=4, 4 squared equals 16.
so that line is just to confuse?
now i have shortened the 4 variables (T,M,G, and E) to just two (lets say M and G)
also, the first and third lines are identical. since T and M are the same it basically is squaring. so:
G=M sqaured
M=root of G
but these two lines are saying the same thing!
e.g:
16=4 squared
4=root of 16
so all this gibberish is just confusion?
therefore: my conclusion is that all 4 letters have the same value

Solution: Girls are evil!
Well not really
G = girls
E = evil
T = time
M = money
Well not really

G = girls
E = evil
T = time
M = money
a = b
2a = 2b
2a - 2b = 0
2(a-b) = 0
(a-b) + (a-b) = 0
1 + 1 = 0
2a = 2b
2a - 2b = 0
2(a-b) = 0
(a-b) + (a-b) = 0
1 + 1 = 0

Someone you scored yourself a slot as a main character!
(a-b) isn't 1, if a=b!
G is T(or M, as T=M)*M =>G=M*M=>G=M^2
M=SqRootE, so E=M*M
G=M*M=SqRootE*SqRootE=E!
M=SqRootE, so E=M*M
G=M*M=SqRootE*SqRootE=E!
N = 1 || P = 0 || N = 1 && P = 0.
Or N=anything and P=0 or N=1 and P=anything.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying; the others are undefined
And if I'm using the logical or, I get Chrispy's third alternative too.
But it's not that simple in reality...

But it's not that simple in reality...

You have to remember, the values are boolean.

Sure it is. You just need to solve it in the method of Proof by exhaustion.
The answer is girls are evil because...
Girls equal time and money
G=TxM
And everyone knows time is money
T=M
G=MSquared
And money is the root of all evil!
M=RootE
So...
G=RootESquared
G=E
There you go!
Girls equal time and money
G=TxM
And everyone knows time is money
T=M
G=MSquared
And money is the root of all evil!
M=RootE
So...
G=RootESquared
G=E
There you go!
Diversion by 0; many dumb problem solutions have this error.
so 5 girls means $5 and 5 hours, or is it 5 cents and 5 years? or maybe 13 girls and $13? and they are as evil as they are combined?
because every letter in the eqaution is the same. so how much money they use up depends on how many there are (obviously the more people the more money is needed) but it always stays the same with the amount of girls. but one girl couldnt live off $1, could she? and not all girls are evil.
you say that 'money is the root of all evil' but if one girl only has $1 then what is 1 squared? 1. that doesnt sound too evil? but how do you interpret 1 as evil? is one good or bad? if i have X dollars does that make me X good or X bad? or does that only apply to girls?

How could a simple question turn into a maths debate? (Maths debate! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!)
