MIDI Stuff
I've started making MIDIs, alright, and they're all located at my website. More specifically, they're located here. I would like to know what you all think of these, and if any of them would be suitable to use in a D-Mod. I got a little inspiration from some of Joshriot's MIDIs, such as the opening drum beat in Been Shot Down.
Anyway, listen, and give me feedback.

No one likes my MIDIs? Come on... Tossing Organs is the best.
Well I listened to dome they r not bad but for me they load long... you can better upload them and then it´s easier for some people (or at least for me )
Not bad at all. Definately a good start, but they do lack variation, and get pretty repetitive (which I suppose is okay for game music). Try playing around with a few riffs and seeing what fits together for a more interesting song. A interesting melody would also kick ass. What are you using to make them?
Thanks!
I used NoteWorthy Composer to create them. A great program, though the evaluation only allows you to save a file 10 times.

Well, maybe you can just copy&paste into a new file and save 10 times more? Those preventive measures are usually not more clever than that.
Dr Who fanclub, eh?
Patrick Troughton was the best.

Nah, David Tennant is way cooler, way funnier, and far more good looking!

Yes, I did think of that, but I've never needed to save any files more than ten times. But then you've got to take all the specific staff properties into acccount, and the piece info, et cetera.

In Tossing Organs, the third banjo note is a note too high, it sounds pretty disturbing. Also, it repeats in the same manner way too much, ultimately making it sound boring. Just starting with some random percussion doesn't help here - vary the banjo sound and let a bass slide in after a specific moment, maybe after some rests in the banjo.
I notice a bit later that a guitar comes in, following the EXACT same melody. Boring, have it play something different, in fact, once the guitar starts coming in I expect to hear the main melody rather than just the same all over again. The same counts for the organ.
You should get a little structure in your songs, varying both melody, instrumentation and combination of the two. Don't forget that it's best to have things like a main melody that changes enough over time, an underlying bass tone, and an instrument supporting the main melody.

You mean you like David Tennant because he is "hip" and appeals to your age bracket, unlike the guys who made the show popular? I also failed to notice the words "talented" or "actor" in your post.
As for the Troughton thing... you'll kick yourself when you get it. If you get it, might I add. How very cryptic I am...

Hey, William Hartnel was pretty good, too. But, yeah, David Tennant does suit me more. I prefer awesome, action, sci-fi!
And DaVince, thanks for the advice, (I think it was advice) and I'll take a look at the link.

Well, I assumed you were helping me. SO I started making another version of Tossing Organs. It's almost finished, will go for 2 and a half minutes or more. I called it 'Throwing Up'. Yes, I know, I'm awesome at naming my music.

I've updated my site with some more awesome MIDIs.
And I say, that England's greatest was Lord Palmerston!
