I'm not telling you to stop being in the Dink Network. (it wouldn't even work ) But it would be nice if you would visit and post on our site even ONCE, cause we've created it.

Dammit, don't bother creating your own stupid site/forum! If you're going to create your own site/forum, do something useful! Make your own Video game, become President of the United States! Take over the bloody World for all I care. Just don't create a stupid little site/forum for no reason! I've said it like, 50 million times before, and I'm saying it again! All sites/forums that have been advertised on this Board, and many others, have failed! The only reason you want to create your own site/forum, is so you can have your 15 seconds of glory saying:

dang, DD95, you're immature. Swearing and screaming because someone's trying to make a website. Take it easy already, there's no reason to become angry because people like Dink so much that they create a site about it.

He does raise a valid point: if people don't think about what's going to attract visitors to their site, people won't come and the site will die a slow death. As the Dink Network is the main meeting place for all Dink related activities (news/files/forum/et cetera), it's unlikely a new basic site/forum will be able to attract visitors.

You could of course create a webpage using some free hosting and tell the world about the ongoing development of your D-Mod but I think you'll get more views by simply creating a thread here and regularly updating that thread.

you dont exactly need to create a game to make a forum it can be about say cars or motor bikes it can even be just for making story's or fanfict, but yeah dinkdude has a point too if you are going to make a forum there has to be a point to it you cant just make one & hope people will post in it i would suggest for anyone who is going to make a forum, plan it out a bit, make a theme & advertise it somehow.
