Background on Dink Smallwood
Hey, I am new yet have played dink mods quite a lot and the original game. Anyways when i first played the game 2 or 3 years ago someone said that a guy (either teen or early adult) made dink smallwood almost all buy himself. Is this true? As for Redink, I understand you must be the leader of dinksmallwood.net, or something to do with rt-soft seeing just what I have read and how your name always displays in red. Was it you that made Dink smallwood the original game single handedly? Thanks, cya.

It is! Except for the music, everything was done by three people (Seth, Pap, Justin) which is pretty kick-ass.

Hah, well thanks for your feedback. Now i understand. Thats crazy that 3 people designed a game like dink smallwood and not only completed the game but made dinkedit for the dmods, wow. Going a little bit off topic though, for 3ds max designers and maybe even flash designers what would be really cool is if there was a script built into the dinksmallwood engine that allows the game window to minimize and play a cinematic movie of some kind in mpeg or avi quality. It was brought up a while ago in one of redinks msg's, would this ever happen? 
that'd be pretty sweet, make a nice customn 3d movie of dink in a fight scene, it make dmods so much cooler

Yes, I'm pretty sure Dink does have the ability to play avi movies. There is a command in DinkC that will allow the game to play a movie. The original CD version of Dink included a movie at the begining and the demos used to have an RTSoft logo movie.
