Games like this have a limit: if you get too big it's impossible to play.
They might have thought deeper about the name, too.

Ebaum's World is a bad site run by a bad person.

From what I saw of the game, it looked like a rip-off (funny that) of Squares 2, but it isn't like I have any evidence which came first.

Whoa Redink1! I tried that squares2...not only is the concept exactly the same, but the graphics and gameplay are identical! In fact the only difference is that squares has squares where ball toucher has balls.

I really hope someone didnt rip the other off.

Also I believe you about ebuamsworld. People I know from another forum keep posting dirty links from that place...the only reason I posted ball toucher was, because it wasnt innapropriate.

That's a hard game.

I wasn't referring to the 'dirty' content that makes ebaumsworld.com a bad place... the guy behind the site consistently takes things that other people put on the internet (such as images hosted on Something Awful or YTMND), removes all copyrights and all other notices that say "Made by so-and-so", and replaces them with a ebaumsworld.com tagline / logo. Ebaumsworld.com also instigated some DOS attacks against Something Awful some time ago.

I tried playing Ball Toucher again (before I just launched it once), and yeah, it does appear that someone decompiled Squares 2 and gave it a Michael-Jackson-and-Balls theme.

What a jackass! Thats got to be one of the most shameful things I've ever heard of...I swear if it werent for him being able to steal and manipulate things he probably wouldnt have a thing on his site then. Lame.
