graphics wanted
I'm working on some tiles for a sort of ice cavern, so I need some new graphics for details. So, I am asking for someone to make sprites that'll correspond with the scenery. Maybe ice stalagmites or something? Bleh, I'm lacking imagination right now. If anyone is interested in making graphics, reply to this or contact me at me email (check my profile).
Idea!: It'd be cool if the stalagmites could shatter.

I could try some stuff, but don't count on it. I'm a busy man and tend to forget some of the less important stuff on my list.
I'll try something this night, when I'm supposed to be in bed.

Will you be releasing these graphics for others to use or keeping them for yourself for a dmod. I ask cos I'd be interested in using them myself.
I've "made" (actualy from google) some graphics. I'll sent them now. (I know it's not much.)
Cool. I liked the first one. They both get screwed up when put in the dink pallet though..
That's strange. They looked fine when I used them.
Are you sure? Copy and paste them in the splash.bmp. The colors will get fudged up.
I don't see a thing (my screen goes black and dink doesn't start up) when I paste them in splash and start dink. (or didn't I had to start dink to check it?) Could you tell me exactly how they look. If they're green or red and not in the right position you should change them a bit (just placing one pixel on a white spot would be enough) and save them. then remove the pixel and save them again so it looks like the original. Then it should be ok. (Or atleast it works fine with me)
You open the graphics up and copy them, then open up the existing splash.bmp in paint or something and paste them there. There is a visible color change right away in which the colors get screwed up (since there are only 256 colors in the dink pallet).
you can also change the pallete. I use Paint Shop Pro 7, and this is the only thing I know how to do with it:
Open splash.bmp, then use save pallete. Now you have the dink pallete. Whenever you want to apply a graphic the dink pallete, open it, click load pallete and load it.

Hey, splash.bmp seems to have disappeared for me. It's really weird. Maybe I'm overlooking it?
Anyway, I couldn't figure out how to export/import a palette in GraphicsGale, and you seem to have received some graphics already. So I won't make any now.

Nothing that really worked good enough, but I'll release the tiles alone soon
I sent you some graphics(your aol email).Maybe they'll work?
Thanks, I'll try them out. They'll have to stary in the pallet they are in though. I got some more from Erwin, so I'll try them all out soon
