Can't find Dink v.1.08
I have been searching for Dink v.1.08, because I'm dying to play Dan Walma's new DMOD, Cast Awakening Part 1: Initiation. He makes such wonderful stuff! After installing, I tried to play it and it said it only works with Dink v. 1.08 or higher. Is there a higher one? From what I can find, v.1.08 is a beta, and I though betas are only for pros, to help other pros troubleshoot bugs.
I did find links, through this forum, to the file and its patch, but none of the links work. Got a 404 message. Everywhere I go I get a dead end.
Does anyone know where these two files can be downloaded? The rsoft page refers you to Download.com and About.com - they only have v.1.06.
I thought there were two official versions of Dink, and the second one was only for people using WinXP. I use 98SE, so I never downloaded it. Is that the same as the 1.08? And, if 1.08 is a beta, and I install it over my old Dink 1.06, what might happen? Might it affect other DMODs badly that were made to work with 1.06?

Hehe, weird timing. I just released Dink Smallwood v1.08 Release Candidate 7.
I would recommend installing it. It is technically a 'beta' (i.e. not a final release), but the hope is this is the final version. But if someone finds another bug, then I'll have to create another release candidate.
Edit: Most older D-Mods should work fine, but some (DinkZilla, Quest for Arithia, Cycles of Evil, Lyna's Story, and Alliance Command) might cause some issues. These D-Mods will be fixed over the next few days.
All versions of Dink should be compatible with all versions of Windows, but I think the 1.07 patch was released to fix some minor incompatibilities with Windows XP.
