Ghost They/Them

I have cheated through the dead end (my last post) I got into during playing (renaming the script blocking the "c" key, going ten screens right and six down from the dragons place with Ultimate Cheat) and got to the end of the game (with a little help of this board of course). I must say, I am really impressed by this dmod, especially the octopusses, the vortex and the earth lord are far beyond anything I ever saw in a dmod. It only had some lows in between, where boring leveling up (on luck and agility) was the big task (of course I had missed the very first secret area). One thing I noticed, was, that not a single bonca or standard pillbug showed up anytime. The author visibly wanted to make this completely his own game. The other thing is, that the shortest end is the best one. Dink refuses to help the woman, has a great holiday and the basilisk scale stays with the basilisk. I wonder, if there are better endings in between (Dink doing something smarter with the scale). But that would have missed the greatly painted destroyed world for the player.

You have lots of nice thigs to say, but than you say the best ending is not playing (not helping Stella at the start), and you admit to cheating your way through it?

Oh well...and no, you can only give the scale to the Tinker.

But cheating is not really playing the game correctly. You miss all the little added surprises and such. Does this mean, that you can't play the game normaly? After all, SimonK took a long time to make this Dmod, for our enjoyment etc. Can you say the same?? >^..^<

I was cheating around a gamestopping bug. See my post "PQ really stuck". But it may also be an error in my download, since SimonK could not reproduce it.

No... ultimately the Tinker/Decretius gets the scale, be it from Dink or someone else. At one stage I was going to have it be someone else as a possible branch of the DMOD - in fact it was going to be Skard, but too much work and it took away from the fact that Dink causes the end of the world by being too gulible.

This branching was going to happen if you got locked up in Prison in the Land of Punz. Now Dink gets out and is instantly killed by frog-bots because he is not strong enough to survive.
