I cannot get Isaac to sell me his pieces of the staff. The only options I have are to chat and sell him something. I have already poisoned Flux, killed the witch and the goblin. I have talked to everyone and to no avail. Please help. Awesome Game.
Which one's Isaac, the guy with the pigfeed sign or the guy in armour? From what I remember... you have to give the lightsword to the latter... and the first one... hmmm.... I remember that you need lots of money. Maybe talk to the armour guy again about who has pieces of the staff, that might trigger it... I really can't remember, sorry!

Thanks for the input. Isaac is the one with the pigfeed poster. I have talked to the knight countless times and nothing new has happened. I will try again though. Any more suggestions would be most welcomed.
Actually, talking to the knight triggers nothing at all.
(Sorry about not agreeing with you once again, Ice )
You need 300000 gold to buy Isaac's pieces (there are lots of piles of gold scattered around, especially in Elrand's castle. Also, look for rocks you can blow up with bombs). Don't give away the light sword until you've freed the children in the witch's house.

I have just finished this game two days ago . When you have 300000 gold an option will become avalible when you talk to Isaac. (For if you didn't get it just jet)
Have you tried to sell him stuff? What does he want from you? My memory of this really is hazy so you'll have to jog it... I remember that it gets to a stage where you need an awful lot of money to get him to sell the pieces... but how to get to that stage... hmmm....

Exactly.
And by the way, the things Isaac will buy from you are the weapon license (10000 gold); the strange key (8000 gold); and the intro box (8000 gold).

Actually, I am having the same problem. Right now I have over 600,000 in gold and he still won't sell. I have done everything else, but no luck.
Well, you have to question him about all the junk in his house first...

Which are the options displayed, when this bugg appears? Is it possible to scroll down for more alternatives?
By the way I never found the strange key. I had to remove those stupid sticks in front of the pyramid with the editor to get in. Where is that key? And Ducksaver how did you get 600.000 gold?! Did you kill that much scorpions? Or did you cheat? (I cheated for money because I was too lazy to kill more scorpions)
This thread is about the strange key.
I don't know whether ducksaver cheated (600.000 gold is a lot of money, after all), but you really shouldn't need to cheat to get 300.000 gold if you find enough piles of gold. I only spent 10-15 minutes killing scorpions. It's nothing compared to Stone of Balance or Pilgrim's Quest.

When you're disagreeing only with my hazy memory, its always forgiven Ducklord! ... I didn't think just having the money was enough though, I thought he told you how much money you had to have at some point... I really can't remember... too many sleepless nights!
Actually, he does tell you how much money you need when you ask him about the junk in his house.
too many sleepless nights
I have't slept that much recently either... And I agree, not sleeping enough is bad for memory.
