The Dink Network

Ye ol' foaming puppies o' 9 has slobbered up a new release of Ninja Dude Graphics. This release is filled with such awesomeness that it went straight from 1.0 to 1.03! I think this release fixes a few problems in the example D-Mod.

Speaking of awesomeness and ninjas, someone much more talented than I once said, "Ninjas can kill anyone they want! Ninjas cut off heads ALL the time and don't even think twice about it. These guys are so crazy and awesome that they flip out ALL the time. I heard that there was this ninja who was eating at a diner. And when some dude dropped a spoon the ninja killed the whole town."

That has to be the quickest update in the history of the Dink Network. or at least one of the quickest.

Not really. I think it was sitting in the Upload Files queue for a few hours. I think I had something go from e-mail-received to news-posted in about 15 minutes before.

No I mean quickest as in quickest update by an author.

In the gurgle, was the Ninja talking with a kid or his monkey?

These aren't actually bad graphics, and works quite well. Curious as to where you got the actual ninja graphics from? Or did you render them yourself?

Nah... I think some of the FIAT patches were a couple hours apart

hmm...the address has changed since i released it...here it is though. i don't plan on making another update for having the wrong address in the readme though

Whoa, there are some high-quality sprites and stuff on there. I might script an enemy-pack or something for some of them.

That site is definitely a keeper

the backgrounds are all colored though, but there is a file on the site called "color replacer" that can help you to change that easily

If the GFX on this site work as well as people are suggesting here (I haven't had the oppurtunity to try any), then this could be a VERY good website for alternative hero d-mods.

Or even if not, a great new source of enemies.

It's quite good. <3 Many of the animals/etc are pretty and useful and have 9 directions.

Too bad most humanoid graphics are smaller than Dink. Even the dragons/trolls/golems are imho too small for the Dinkiverse.

Did ypu try resizing them? A couple of good programs to do that with are Irfanview and the Gimp. Just do a Google search for them and it'll find them easy.

Resizing any raster image to a larger size will result in poor quality.

nope, i wish i could make graphics of my own, the most i've done with graphics is edit already existing ones. i am not talented.

I was going by Redink1's link when he opened this thread. He claims you are the culprit.
